Report for Loveato.com review

It is not often that we come across dating sites we review, without an outrageously sensual woman’s image splashed across the homepage. It is even more unusual, to find a site without any images at all, such as Loveato.com. Is the site’s clinical appearance designed to instil trust, by distinguishing itself from typical fraudulent sites? To find out, we registered for a free profile, and meticulously tested the platform and its services.

Unfortunately, once we signed up, we quickly realized that it was a devious fake chat rip-off. Within just two minutes, we were bombarded with vulgar chat messages. We suspect that these messages are generated by computers, programmed by the site’s operator, to arouse and lure users into purchasing pricey chat credits, since messages cannot be sent without them. This shady website is run by TEKNOLOGY SA, based in Lugano, in Switzerland. This is not our first encounter with this company, and we strongly advise against signing up, since it is undoubtedly a rip-off.

Details on the Loveato.com review

Loveato.com’s landing page offers little incentive for users to sign up. The interface is so simplistic that it is almost tedious, and it does not provide any information about what awaits in the member’s area. To uncover more about the platform, we registered, and scrutinized the Terms of Service. Our experience left no doubt, that this dating site is a scam. To access messaging, users must shell out a considerable amount of money, as this is not available with a free registration.

However, once users have depleted their savings, they will painfully discover that their odds of making a genuine connection on this site, are non-existent, a fact that is clearly stipulated in the Terms of Service.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 14/04/2023)

The portal also contains “fantasy” profiles created and controlled by the website with which it is not possible to arrange real encounters. […] Some of the messages from our service may be automatically generated by a software with no human involvement and third-party contractors contracted by us may generate messages or correspondence from then on. You acknowledge that the information, text and pictures contained in most of the profiles do not pertain to any actual person.

Computer-generated fake messages

Put simply, TEKNOLOGY SA, the company behind this website, uses chatbots to send automated messages, to try to lure in users. Chatbots are computer programs which simulate conversations and can be programmed to send pre-written messages, at certain times. This creates the illusion of a large user base. This is intended to make users believe that women show a lot of interest in their profile. We experienced this first hand, as we received numerous suggestive messages upon signing up. However, it is important to note, that users will never actually meet the person on the other end of the chat.

Classic “credits” scam

To reply to the numerous seductive messages that they receive from chatbots, users are required to buy expensive “credits”, which serve as the site’s internal currency. Unfortunately, purchasing these credits can become very costly, as every message sent, deducts one, from the user’s balance. Engaging in long and fruitless conversations with the chatbots, can, therefore, rapidly drain the user’s wallet, resulting in exorbitant costs. Moreover, the chatbots are programmed to trick users into thinking they are communicating with real people, leading to further disappointment, and a terrible experience overall.

The conclusion from our Loveato.com review

Following our comprehensive review, we have determined that Loveato.com is nothing but a deceptive scam, which relies heavily on chatbots, to deceive users into purchasing expensive chat credits. This ultimately leads to substantial financial losses, within a short period of time. Furthermore, users are typically unaware, that they are interacting with fake profiles. Consequently, negative experiences on this fraudulent platform, are all but guaranteed. In light of these findings, it is strongly recommended to steer clear of this website altogether.
