Report for YoloChicks.com review

YoloChicks.com is a sexually charged dating site, designed for people who are looking for a hookup, with no strings attached. The landing page shows a picture of a blonde woman. We have seen this image before, on other fishy dating portals. This time, it just happens to be a black and white version. Other than that, there is not much to say about the landing page, which is practically blank. There is a registration form, and below that, there is a warning about explicit content, which is reserved for people over 18 years old.

This dating portal is operated by Cargo Media AG, which is a company registered in Pfäffikon, in Switzerland. We have written several reviews about this operator. They always seem to use a fake chat, and so-called “icebreaker” messages, which are sent to all new users. As usual, we created a bare profile, and we examined the Terms and Conditions. Even though the legal text does not openly discuss fake profiles, our experience leaves no doubt about their existence. The company just uses the term “icebreaking system” instead. Whatever you want to call it, this website is a rip-off.

Details on the YoloChicks.com review

YoloChicks.com is an online dating platform which targets heterosexual men who are looking for women for casual hookups. This is as much as we can gather from the landing page, which offers little to no information about the service. In our experience, this is a major red flag. Any reputable operator will inform their potential customers properly. But this is not the case here. This portal is almost identical to other scams created by Cargo Media AG, the Swiss company based in Pfäffikon.

Shameless fake chat

It is difficult to understand how this scam works at all because it is particularly obvious to us that it hides a fake chat. Our test profiles are specifically designed to go unnoticed. We should attract no attention from real human beings. However, by the time we logged in for the first time, our inbox was already full of messages. Even if we had made an effort to write something interesting on our profile, it should be evident that all this eagerness to have sex with us, cannot be authentic.

However, this scam clearly works. These fishy operators know exactly how to trick you into spending your money on a fake chat. We know from experience, that this company in particular, runs several very explicit websites, which operate exactly the same way. They are clearly making money with this useless service, or else they would not bother. If you are OK with chatting with virtual profiles, that is entirely up to you. Either way, this is a rip-off, since the fake profiles and the company, are not sufficiently clear about any of this.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 09/02/2023)

At the time of registration for our services, we ask all of our users if they would like to to sign up for our Icebreaker News and Icebreaker Actions services (the “Icebreaker Services” or “Services”). Through these Services, we send Icebreaker messages, view profiles, send friend requests and send gifts (“Icebreaker Actions” or “Actions”) on behalf of and in the name of such consenting registered users.

The Icebreaker Actions aim to introduce users to each other, facilitate and support conversation between users, encourage users to respond to each other’s content, introduce new users to our most active community members, and generally promote the use of our service.

www.YoloChicks.com RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ANY TIME, TO CHANGE ITS FEES AND BILLING METHODS, INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF SUPPLEMENTAL FEES OR SEPARATE CHARGES FOR CONTENT OR SERVICES PROVIDED BY www.YoloChicks.com OR CHANGES TO SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH VARIOUS MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS.

Breaking the ice

So, the fake profiles reach out to users with so-called icebreaker messages. Their goal is to lure you into purchasing a paid subscription. Be careful, though, even if you think it may be fun to chat with these cyber girls. These memberships entail recurring costs, and most likely it will be extremely difficult to get out of that contract.

Beware especially of 1-day trials, since it is unclear what the deadline is, to have your subscription cancelled. Furthermore, these companies often pretend they never receive the cancellation notice. In the meantime, they continue charging you, for as long as they can. What started out as a little digital fun can end up becoming a nightmare.

The conclusion from our YoloChicks.com review

YoloChicks.com is a dating platform which features a fake chat. The portal is managed by Cargo Media AG. It is almost identical to other websites run by the same company. This operator does not hide the fact that the characters in the chat, are not real, but they are not clear enough about it either. We know, from previous reviews, that it is better to stay away from platforms which lack transparency about their services. Here, the operator tricks you into purchasing a dangerous membership.
