Report for YeMatch.com review

YeMatch.com is a dating portal that looked intriguing at first. However, our practical experience left much to be desired. It is managed by UyoTech Services LTD, a company based in Selkirk, Canada. We don’t know them very well, and our research didn’t cast much light on their reputation either. The Terms and Conditions were rather confusing. They ambiguously explain that any ideas exposed on the portal will become their property. This can have significant implications, such as the creation of fake profiles.

The landing site looks modern in purple and white tones. It shows a number of profiles that looked rather believable at first. The operator claims that this is the best choice for adult daters at any age. They supposedly offer advanced matchmaking technology and strict safety measures. However, our research shows that the accounts are questionable. The pictures are too perfect, and all their bios are half-empty or contain strange descriptions. Also, considering the obscure Terms and Conditions, we concluded this website as a scam.

Details on the YeMatch.com review

YeMatch.com is a dating rip-off designed by UyoTech Services LTD, a company based in Selkirk, Canada. We don’t have much experience with this operator, so we had to take a good look at their portal. We also looked for former online reviews from users, but we found neither positive nor negative opinions about them.

Suspicious profiles

We based our review mainly on our first-hand experience, since the Terms and Conditions were unclear and there were no former user opinions available online. The most striking aspect from the site was that the bios seemed incongruent with the profile pictures. Sometimes the photos showed a man, but the description talked about a woman. In this day and age, it is hard to say who is who, but it just happened way too often on this site.

In other instances, the hair colour of the user didn’t match at all, or their age was clearly wrong. It almost came across as if the photos were randomly, or carelessly, assigned. Either way, it is not a sign of a reliable platform and certainly points towards a fake chat service.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 28/08/2023)

You understand and acknowledge that the Company has both internal resources and other external resources which may have developed or may in the future develop ideas identical to or like Ideas and that the Company is only willing to consider Ideas on these terms. In any event, Ideas are not submitted in confidence and the Company assumes no obligation, express or implied by considering it.

Without limitation, the Company will exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the Ideas of every kind and nature throughout the world and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Ideas for any purpose whatsoever, commercial, or otherwise without compensation to the provider of the Ideas.

Bags of credits

Users can buy a bag of credits on YeMatch.com for different purposes. The credits are used as payment for services such as boosting profiles, sending virtual gifts, or bettering your chances of achieving a match. The prices of the packages range between 3 and 19 dollars. It may not sound like a lot, but members’ wallets will quickly run out of credits. This way, they will end topping up over and over again until they understand this is just a scam.

Complicated terms

We strongly dislike that the operator chose to write such obscure Terms of Service. A reliable company strives to establish clear agreements that are easily understandable by the consumer. In our opinion, this lack of clarity is intentional. They could use this ambiguity as an alibi in case a client chooses to take legal action against this rip-off.

The conclusion from our YeMatch.com review

YeMatch.com came across as a reliable dating website at first, but it was just a scam based on a fake chat service. The profiles in the members’ area are quite strange, and the descriptions rarely seem to match the photographs. This is not the place to fulfil your dreams if you’re looking for a real relationship. This portal has been designed by a rather unknown company called UyoTech Services LTD, registered in Canada.
