Report for xMeeting.com review

The online dating website xMeeting.com offers free registration and seems to have many members. Both details are not right and made up to mislead the visitor. This website is a scam with a fake chat and a subscription trap. The Service Development LTD operates it.

In the member’s pool are so-called automated profiles and bots. They are to entice the user to a chat. But the user does not know about the fake conversation and assumes that all profiles show real people. The costs on this dating portal originate via a subscription for a paid membership which will renew automatically. It is a cheeky trap.

Details on the xMeeting.com review

Already the name of the dating portal xMeeting.com points out, that you will be able to arrange a date here. Moreover, the website advertises with a reasonable offer, including a free registration. So, what could go wrong? As this website claims to have a high amount of members but seems to be entirely unknown on the internet, we did some research.

During our research, we found mostly negative reviews about this dating portal and its operator. We read a few times that this website is a rip-off. The Service Development LTD operates the site which is in Nicosia, Cyprus. Already the location of the company gives us the impression of an untrustworthy operator. On the landing page, we see a few profile pictures. Of course, we assume that they show real people, but apparently, they do not.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 22/03/2024)

You may interact with content generated by, or with the assistance of, automated online accounts (“Bots” or “Automated Profiles”), where none – or substantially none – of the actions and posts of that Automated Profile are the result of or arise in connection with, a natural person’s profile or otherwise User Content.

Fake operator

An automated profile sounds like a fake profile that is operated by a fake operator. Plus it is mentioned that you may get connected with one of those automated profiles. That works in the following way. Right after the registration, a fake operator will get in touch with a new member. A user will assume that this person is real and is looking forward to arranging a date. But it seems like physical contact is not possible.

The fake operator will make the first step. If a user wants to respond and answer, a paid membership is needed. That is how the costs originate here on this portal. Well, a paid dating website is not a rip-off, but as the operator advertises with wrong information, it’s getting pretty close. Additionally, it seems like the subscription is a cheeky scam. It is in the terms and conditions that the subscription will extend automatically.

The conclusion from our xMeeting.com review

xMeeting.com uses automated profiles and bot to interact with the user. A user does not know about the fake chat and assumes that all profiles show real people. The fake operators that operate the fake profiles will entice the user to stay and get a paid membership. But the subscription for that membership will extend automatically. It is a trap and a cheeky scam.

I”m a member for three months. I was able to turn off auto renew. But don’t think I have talked to a real woman since on the site. It would be great if there were a mechanism on the internet to shut down these fake sites. I did find a photo of a woman from Ohio that I saw on another site only there she is from Manchester NH same photo. So guess there is profile stealing going on. If it were real it would be a great site. I’ve been on so-called reliable sights such as AFF and others, well they have their issues as well. I’ll be sure to check out reviews before I pay again for any web dating site. I’m also on Ashley Madison, seems like another dead site.
