Our experience shows that this company, who are based in Nicosia, in Cyprus, controls a vast network of online dating scams. Many of them are identical to this site, except for the landing page, and maybe the photos of some alleged members. We know very well how this dangerous company exploits naive users. Sadly, xAdultDating.com turns out to be just another treacherous rip-off.

We followed our usual method for this review, by creating an inconspicuous profile, and reading the Terms of Use attentively. As expected, this platform quickly proved that it contained a fake chat. Almost all profiles are fictional characters. Of course, this is not clearly explained to the users, who get bombarded with messages from these fantasy folks. Their goal is to lure the newcomer into a steamy conversation, so he becomes willing to pay for every single message sent. However, the user is not aware that a physical meeting with these characters is impossible.

Even though it is free to register, that is about all you can do with a free profile. However, you can read the messages you receive from these characters, and even send a couple of messages. Then, you are prompted to buy more credits to continue the conversation. It may be hard to believe how someone could fall for this. But apparently it works because these scams are a booming business.

Our suspicions were confirmed the moment we read the Terms of Use. Here, the operator explicitly admits to operating what they call “staff profiles.” These are supposedly created to somehow guarantee that the platform works properly, and to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. The cost per message is ridiculous, even when buying the largest credit bundle. Even a short flirt will cost you a small fortune.
