Report for WildScrew.com review

WildScrew.com purports to be a dating platform that connects users with local singles for casual fun hook-ups. The operators consider this site to be the best place to secure a legit hook-up and spice up your life with that beautiful single next door. The landing page details how this website is taking online dating to the next level and explains the measures the company took to get users sizzling deals on hot casual hook-ups. Despite these endless promises of a good time, our review revealed that WildScrew.com is another fake chat scam baiting users into a subscription rip-off.

WildScrew.com is operated by a company called Wild Screw. They subject users to the laws of England and Wales. The promise that sexual fantasies can be fulfilled by them. However, we have enough experience to know that all the profiles shown on the landing page and the members’ area were fake. In our line of work, we’ve seen operators use chatbots to keep users engaged. In addition, WildScrew.com members can only read the first five messages sent to them by other supposed users. To reply and gain the full dating experience that WildScrew.com has to offer, they must first subscribe.

Details on the WildScrew.com review

WildScrew.com promises that users will have numerous opportunities for casual sex encounters and good times with no strings attached. The platform claims to be the best place to indulge yourself if you’re feeling lustful and need more excitement. With such a professionally done landing page, new users may think that they’ve come to the right place for kinky fun. However, after creating a profile to evaluate the site, we started receiving numerous messages and undeserved attention. Our profile was plain and simple, so we knew the operator was scamming users. It was a clear indicator of chatbots and fictitious profiles.

User privacy risks

Wild Screw operates an online platform that collects user data and sells it to other third parties as stated in their Terms of Use. By signing up to the platform, users unknowingly grant the operator the right to use the content for their purposes. A user, in this case, waives all their rights and cannot claim possible infringement with the use of such data. The company further outlines that they reserve the right to use all data, including photographs, to advertise publicly, and users must specify they do not want their private information shared outside the platform.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 18/12/2023)

We may, from time to time, offer users the ability to “Promote My Account” through Account Settings. Activation of this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will be required to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender.

Automated messages or chatbots

Our experience on the platform and reviews from previous users confirm that WildScrew.com is populated with chatbots. It took only a short time after signing up before we started receiving messages from singles supposedly from our local area who wanted to meet. The operator admitted to sending automated messages to users to boost account activity. Unfortunately, users cannot read or reply to messages on free membership. Therefore, the operator is using sexy bots to lure members into a dangerous subscription rip-off.

A risky subscription

WildScrew.com operates an elaborate subscription scam. Firstly, the platform is not free to use since members must pay to use the messaging services. As established in our review, most of the messages were fake, originating from fictitious profiles. Thus, any investment in the platform is a rip-off. Also, the business model is a recurring subscription, requiring members to cancel before the end of the current period. In case of overcharging, the company only refunds the most recent payment. The company can label you as a scammer if you request a refund.

The conclusion from our WildScrew.com review

WildScrew.com operates a dangerous scam, luring users with fake messages into a subscription rip-off. The profiles displayed by the members are not genuine, and there is no possibility of arranging a physical date. Also, the platform raises users’ privacy risks, and user data can be shared with third-party platforms. While the operator claims to have a refund policy, they label users who request for refund as scammers on their websites. Therefore, this site is a cheeky rip-off and people should stay away.
