At first glance, the online dating website VeggieVisionDating.com looks like a great choice. The portal aims for the vegetarian and vegan community. It promises to be the perfect platform to find like-minded singles, who are looking for dates, love, and relationships. But unfortunately, we quickly find out, that the website cannot be trusted.
We find the following note in the terms and conditions
3.1 The Website’s primary purpose is to provide an adult entertainment experience. The Service enables members to connect with each other, exchange pictures, stories, fantasies, and contact and engage in conversation with other members, our representatives, and our automated system.
In other words, the operator of VeggieVisionDating.com uses Chatbots and hired fake operators to interact with its users. Consequently, it is highly unlikely to find real members in the chat. Most likely, the chat is full of fake profiles, which are created and managed by hired staff members. With these fake profiles, real-life dates are obviously impossible.
Expensive and pointless
As users are not properly informed about the fake chat, they assume real people are behind the member profiles. To get full access to the chat feature, and to be able to send messages, users must pay for a premium-membership. Directly after the free registration, new users receive numerous enticing messages. Assuming these messages are sent by attractive members, users are tempted to answer as quickly as possible. To do so, they unavoidably need a paid membership subscription. Obviously, the enticing messages are not sent by real members, but rather by the mentioned chatbots or staff members, who are hiding behind fake profiles. Users are tricked into expensive subscriptions, without ever having realistic chances of finding someone for a real-life date.
The operator behind this scam is the infamous Tyche Technologies AG from Zug, Switzerland. We have already had some bad experiences with some other dating websites run by this company, and strongly advise everyone to never sign up on any of them.
