Users can select anything from a relationship to casual dating and hookups. It also accommodates those looking for a swinging partner or open to more possibilities. Apparently, all one has to do is create an account and fill out their preferences and the profile of the person they seek. They will then begin their journey to finding a match.

At first glance, SwingersNear.me looks like a platform that allows users to express their deepest desires with like-minded people. Even the first paragraph in its Terms and Conditions stated that there are no bots and that it’s a site that’s only for adults. Upon conducting a thorough review of the site, it became apparent that the website is a scam, featuring a fabricated chat service.

On the surface, SwingersNear.me is a dating site that connects users who are looking to explore their fantasies. The information provided on the site suggests that it allows users to explore a wide range of desires. It also has many profiles for users to match with. We created an account to try and look at what SwingersNear.me had to offer. However, as it turned out, we could not chat with any of the profiles without subscribing. There are packages for 1, 3, and 12 months. They cost £22.46, £17.98 and £8.99 per month respectively.

According to the website, upgrading to the paid options allows users unrestricted matches and unlimited swipes. They can also view all the raunchiest photos and videos and get private messages from other users. Moreover, they can use the advanced search filters and see likes from other users. Still, we suspect that the site is a scam. Here is why:

Fake chats

Arnaze Online LTD stated that SwingersNear.me is an entertainment service, and users should agree to use it at their own risk. This Ireland-based operator even goes further to acknowledge using some ‘Staff Profiles’ that are maintained and managed by employees. Therefore, there is a chance that a user may be chatting with people they will never meet.

The fact that the site was only meant to provide entertainment services suggests that users should not have much hope of finding genuine connections. Those not aware of this scheme are likely to subscribe to a rip-off that does not satisfy the expectations of users who want to meet someone.

Subscription rip-off

The free account is worthless and new users to the site can’t use it to find a date. Users can’t send messages or view those who have liked them. To get unlimited swipes and the ability to send messages, a user has to subscribe. These subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period.

There is also a disclaimer that explains how a subscriber’s user account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Technically, this means that they may charge users before the current period has lapsed. In our experience, such a policy can limit the window that a user has to cancel their subscription.

Our review established that SwingersNear.me is a scam. The site exists only for entertainment purposes. Members who use it should only do so at their own risk. It is a subscription rip-off because users cannot chat or carry out much action without paying a monthly fee. Some of the profiles are set up by the company, meaning some users may chat with people who have no mutual interest. From our experience, there are zero benefits to members looking to meet people on this website.
