Report for Spooco.com review

Spooco.com is an appealing website for those who are interested in encounters with people nearby. The well-done presentation of the offer, together with free and quick registration, is appealing. Unfortunately, the website’s offer is unreal. Meeting other users is simply impossible. Those are fake users impersonated by fake operators who sometimes begin the chat just to lure users into continuing the conversation.

We signed up to write this review. We found out that if you want to message other members, you must buy a virtual credits package which can be very expensive. In the end, the user’s experience on this website will be revealed as a scam and, therefore, a waste of time and money. Spooco.com is operated by Take Two Digital LTD located in Paphos, in Cyprus.

Details on the Spooco.com review

The landing page of Spooco.com is good-looking with a smooth design. The company makes the user think that they will have a lot of chances to meet someone in person and potentially even a soulmate. Sadly, the only thing that a user can expect from this website is a huge waste of time and money.

We signed up to give it a try and to write an accurate review. After a free registration, we suddenly could see a wide selection of users ready to chat.

Too good to be true

Most of the profiles have credible photos, and therefore we started to chat with some online users using the credit included with the free registration. Even though our profile didn’t have any photos and descriptions, we suddenly began to receive appealing replies and new messages from potentially interested women. This is a clear sign that the website is a scam.

Expensive coin packages

The purpose of the messages by the operators is to lure users into purchasing credit coin packages to continue the chat. The cost of these packages can be very expensive: 99 EUR for 3000 coins.

According to the terms and conditions, it seems it is possible to get a refund. Unfortunately, there is no built-in refund section; therefore, the users need to get in touch by sending an email to the staff. This is a clear sign of a scam since the user cannot be sure they will hear back from the company Take Two Digital LTD based in Paphos, in Cyprus.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 24/09/2021)

The Company operates system profiles (i.e. profiles connected to Accounts which have been created by the company and which are either operated by contractors of the company who impersonate the persons portrayed in such profiles or by a system designed to interact with users) and expressly reserves the right to chat with users through such system profiles in order to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. Physical contact with individuals behind such system profiles is strictly prohibited.

Unlikely to meet

Spending time on this website and chatting with users is senseless. The only purpose of the website is to lure users into chatting with fake members who are simply not available to meet. This company only wants you to pay for “entertainment” as they call it.

The conclusion from our Spooco.com review

Spooco.com is just a well-made scam. The users’ photos look real, but it is impossible to meet someone in person, and all the chat experience is fake. We have also found some bad reviews about this website and its service. After having investigated this website, we consider it a scam.

This so called dating site Spooco is another fake dating site. I bet there isn’t anyone getting a date on here. Ask for a photo of them In real time, and they get defensive. Or there phones broke or they say after they get to know you which never happens.
STAY AWAY FAKE PROFILES! I’ll take your money and it will better spent.

Since my English is quite limited, my comment is in Portuguese.

Thank you very much for open my eyes. You saved me from wasting more time and money.
