The online dating site SoulMates.ie advertises with a free registration. It offers a large online database that makes it possible to find your personal soulmate. The site might look user-friendly at first sight, but it really is not. Once again Venntro Media Group LTD tries to trick users by using fictitious profiles. This company based in Slough, in the UK, has earned a very bad reputation for a good reason.

Using the chat as well as other functions comes at a cost. Furthermore, this English company is famous for charging users too much money. Unfortunately, as a user you get nothing in return. Since the other members are merely fictitious, it seems impossible to find a true soulmate. The use of fake profiles only benefits the operator, who can successfully entice the users to actively use the chat.

At first sight, SoulMates.ie looks like a professional dating site. On the landing page you cannot see any of the real members, only stock photos which make everything look fancy. It is hard to believe that there could be something wrong with this site, but it is a rip-off. The members’ area is full of fake profiles which are created by the operator. They turn out to be a useful tool by managing to rip-off users in the chat.

After signing up, it is surprisingly easy to find someone to start chatting with. We found a possible explanation for this in the terms and conditions. Although the operator does not admit to the use of moderated fake profiles, there is a suspicious statement in the terms and conditions. This tackles the issue about certain profiles.

Our previous experience with the English operator was not any better.

Fake chat scam

The fake profiles appear to be real members who are looking for a flirt. Therefore, the users feel the urge to invest their money on SoulMates.ie to use the chat feature. We are not too sure if the fake profiles are merely bots or controlled by real people who function as fake chat operators. It does not matter if you buy virtual “credits” or a membership to enable chatting. However, using this site becomes very expensive, especially since the operator likes to charge users too much money. This site is a rip-off that does not offer anything.
