It is a bit disappointing when you arrive at the online dating portal SinglesHello.com. The landing page looks outdated and not very animating. Still, it seems very familiar to us because we have seen this design countless times already.

The company behind SinglesHello.com is based in Nicosia, Cyprus and managing a massive network of dating portals and has a reputation for being a rip-off. The operator is luring people into expensive conversations with false and misleading information and moderated chats. He is animating users with bots, faked profiles and moderators to spend plenty of money on useless communications. The member’s pool is full of fictitious profiles, and a real live date will never happen. This time the operator names himself SinglesHello, just another name for the same cheeky company.

Not a lot to see on the starting page of SinglesHello.com., the design looks classy and boring at the same time. No real information is given just the slogan “Join Now and Find Your Match!” catches the eye, and the visitors learns that the sign up is free. Becoming a member is easy, and the user has to provide some personal details like date of birth, location and preference. After that, he needs to choose a username and a unique password before he needs to agree to the terms and conditions.

This time the operator names himself SinglesHello, just another name for the same cheeky company.

Entertainment

Here we find the first evidence that the online dating website SinglesHello.com is using fantasy profiles, so-called Online Cupids, to entertain the members. After excepting the terms and conditions, we click the sign-up button and are redirected to complete our profile. The new member needs to choose a profile headline, an introduction text and what kind of person you are looking for. The newbie gets redirected again and lands at the main member’s area.

Nothing to see here beside the function “search”, “buddies”, “who is online”, “live cams”, and “extras”. On the top of the page, we can set our profile and see new messages. But 95% of the page offers the user a membership upgrade with the guarantee to get hooked up within three months—nothing else than a big scam.

Even without any uploaded photo, the new member gets plenty of kinky messages from hot women who want to hook up. Nothing will happen at all, because those are all faked profiles operated by employees to lure the people into expensive memberships. The upgrade is necessary if you want to reply to messages and see more details from members, the basic membership is totally useless.

We saw many reports on the internet from former members which bought the three-day trial premium membership for $ 1.95 and very angry that they got charged automatically with $ 29.95 after three days. This amount is recurring monthly until you terminate the membership.
