We can read here how easy it is to find interesting and exciting people in our area, in just a few seconds. Nevertheless, for our review, we decided to investigate further. We register and carefully read the terms and conditions.

Unfortunately, at the bottom of the page, we already read that the site contains fictive profiles for “entertainment” purposes. The company behind this SingleFlirtPlace.com is Midsummer Online BV, from The Netherlands. Our experience with this company in the past is not good. They operate a network of dating sites which are all fake chat scams.

SingleFlirtPlace.com looks like a reliable online dating platform, but it is a scam. The landing page has a good design, and it gives information about how easy it is to find new people in our area. To complete our review, we decided to register and to read the terms and conditions. We easily found that this dating website is a complete rip-off.

Fake profiles and fake chat

The use of fake profiles, managed by fake chat operators is easy to prove. This is mentioned in the terms and conditions, as well as during the registration, it still may not be obvious for every user. These fake profiles are marked with a small heart icon, which is fair. This tiny icon can only be seen once the user opens the profile details. Furthermore, the problem is that all profiles we checked were fictitious. After a couple of minutes, we received several messages from these fake chat operators. All of them intended to get us involved in a conversation.

Here is where the rip-off takes place. Sending a single message cost over £1.50. Therefore, a meaningless conversation with a fake profile will end up costing us a lot of money. It is fair to say that the payments are non-recurring, so we cannot talk about a subscription trap. Even so, we still consider this page to be another scam from the infamous Midsummer Online BV, based in Deventer, The Netherlands. They use fake chat and fake chat operators.
