Report for Shag.co.uk review

The online dating website Shag.co.uk advertises with a large member’s area and a free registration. It seems like a legit platform but after a very short research we came to the conclusion that it is a rip off of the company named The Perfect Match LTD.

The website Shag.co.uk uses fake operators that operate fake profiles. That means it is not possible to meet a real person in the members area. All messages and members are a fake and only there to scam the user. Plus the website offers a subscription which is senseless as there are no real users so the website is a subscription trap plus fake operators scam.

Details on the Shag.co.uk review

The online dating website subscription Shag.co.uk advertises with some profile pictures on the landing page. It also advertises with a free registration and that it is a simple thing to find a date here on this website. It all sounds pretty awesome but it turns out that Shag.co.uk is a scam.

The website Shag.co.uk creates fake profiles that are operated by fake operators. Their job is to higher the traffic on the platform itself plus higher the income of the operator of the website. The operator of the scam website is the The Perfect Match LTD that is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. For us the location of the operator is a clear first hint for a scam dating website.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 25/03/2024)

With the sole purpose of improving the user experience, we reserve the right to erase or manage the profile left inactive by the user and any fake profiles that have been created on the Shag website.

All profiles are fake profiles

The rip off works as following Shag.co.uk advertises with a lot of good offers which are all mentioned by wrong and misleading information. The member’s area is full of young attractive people. Yes, but all profiles are fake profiles. It is an easy game to find a person for a hit chat. Also yes, but all messages are exchanged with a fake operator and its fake profile. The registration is for free is also true but after that the website charges very high costs for its use.

The rip off at Shag.co.uk works in two ways. First of all the website offers credits that are needed to send messages. As there is not a single real person it is a scam. Plus Shag.co.uk offers a subscription for different terms which is another scam of the website as the user will pay for a service that has no use. Plus to buy that service the customer first gets tricked. There are many bad reviews about the website and some also claim that the subscription is a trap with no escape.

The conclusion from our Shag.co.uk review

The online dating website Shag.co.uk is a scam that works with fake operators that operate fake profiles. Additionally the website offers a subscription that is another scam as well plus there is the danger of a subscription trap as the membership extends itself automatically. There is no reason to be a member of this platform as there are only fake profiles but not a single real person.

Lets look on the bright side though. Most of us will have looked at sites that review contact sites (such as shag.co.uk for instance), to try and find a recommended contact site. What we know straight away is that any review site that rates shag.co.uk as anything better than bag of shite is in fact a site as fake as shag.co.uk and is probably run by the same owner to bolster their criminal sites to defraud the public

Scam most profiles stolen. there are girls there but there are sex workers they say they are safe here rather than working on the road.

Generally do not use any dating site with SHAG in the title , shag today , local shags shag me , are all run by the same company. ALL Fake profiles with scammers behind them . We know , we’ve checked them out.

I am an investigator of these sites I’m actually funded to do this and I can tell you that I have sufficient evidence to close SHAG down. I have checked various profile pictures of women on SHAG against Google image and many , not all, have been taken from HAMSTER soft porn website. When you try to notify the women that they’ve been sussed, they obviously deny it. Also with ten different women I asked them to text my mobile number to confirm they were serious about meeting. Not one them agreed to do it. If you request a meeting , they want to chat a lot with you beforehand, one woman went through 15 long messages and deliberately avoided arranging a meet, SHAG is obviously a big money spinner con, you are chatting to operatives that are trained to keep you chatting and buying credits to do so. I’m about to submit my findings to the authorities and hopefully get this scam taken down permanently.

I further add that as noted previously , you cannot exchange numbers of email addresses as they get starred out. You can however write numbers in as .. one five seven one ect …and it gets through. Indie this and the lady confimed she got my number…I stopped.messaging her as my credits had lapsed and she has since contacted me on the site twice…let’s see if she calls or sends a text …bet she doesn’t

Total scam .The photos are stolen from various sources, I used Google image search and found this out for myself. One woman I searched had 30 pictures on Hamster under a Russian name , yet she was supposedly based in Sheffield. If ever you are unsure I f a dating site is genuine try the image search method , you just save the picture and upload it on Google image search and it’ll roundup with possible matches.

This site should be taken to court and everyone should get their money refunded. I used to ask trick questions and they completely avoided an answer. Same woman on there three times. I contacted them, they said let us know and we’ll take action; they didn’t. I like others, have spent a lot of money and just when you think you’re getting somewhere, the woman comes back with a load of rubbish. I tried various ways to fox them. Sometimes it worked. I was chatting to one woman who I think had at least three to five various operators. SCAM! And nothing but a SCAM. I’m thinking the government should be sorting this out and other sites too. SCAM!!

Ok… this is a definite scam website and yep sussed it out too late.. my question is how come this site doesn’t get banned and people are not protected from this bullshit! I fell into the same trap as everyone else and of course due o the pandemic was hoping to find someone to be companion in these crazy times. I feel they took advantage of the times and social climate we are in today!

The deception is so real, and even though throughout the experience I felt something was off, I did recieve some explicit pics but overall I came to the conclusion that it is most definately a scam. I should have reviewed the site first! Where there genuine guys like us looking to connect like minded women (supposedly) there will always be scams like these.

I am absolutely shocked at how I got sucked in to this damn scam! How can we get this closed down? There must be a way? I’ve lost quite a bit of money where I paid but received no credits! Absolute scam to the worst degree and as others have said you get these “women” posing questions at the end to entice you to answer! I’ve found that it will always be me that has to message, if I don’t then that’s it they’re gone so to speak! I should have been more awake! Bastards.

A complete scam, run by people in Bulgaria. The pictures are culled from porn sites and escort profiles, the responses to messages are designed to keep you buying more and more tokens.

Yep I have been scammed lol you would have thought at my age I would not fall for this!!! But I did I hope anyone reading this article will stay well clear of this site.

As people have said got sucked into this scam appears legitimate, but look at pics closely and you can see they are not in the UK 🇬🇧 then when you suggest swapping numbers after a tensile chats, they go on about being sure and taking time, also when you try and add numbers to a message they appear as **** so there is no way numbers will be exchanged. Also messages come through at strange hours so suspect it’s not even in this country

  15. Harvey 30th September 2020 at 5:27 pm - Reply

I cant believe I got sucked in. I spent a lot of money thinking they were all genuine. That’s correct what other users have said. You get daily messages from women and they all seem genuine but for £2 for every messages you send can add up. some women will initiate that they really are interested and next thing you know you are having daily conversations with them which all adds up. soon you know it you have spent £200 in 2 week then you try to say lets exchange numbers or communicate off site and they wont have it. Saying that they find it safe on the site because they have had a bad experiences. But I had conversations with at least 5 women and you can just imagine how much I racked up on buying credits. I say stay away. I complained to support and sent them 5 emails but they never replied back. I found one woman’s picture on another profile so definitely fake!!! Stay well away. I had to find out the hard way. Also I set myself as a woman profile to see from a woman’s point of view and they are entitled to free unlimited messages and a subscriptions for 6 months only £29. So you see its a rip off for us guys.

I logged in a few days ago on this website . I thought that I would read cometars from the base of this page. I checked face recognition software and unfortunately all the women I had in my favorites were porn stars. I’m glad I didn’t buy any subscription. FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!! Save your money!!!!!!!!!!!

Shag.co.uk is a scam, there is no chance of meeting anyone. The conversation responses are generic computer generated rubbish. Spelling and grammar have errors. Don’t waste your time.
