Report for Senioren-Dates.com review

The online dating website Senioren-Dates.com is a rip-off. This website uses automated notifications to encourage new members to chat. While doing our research on this site, we did not experience any kind of fake chat service. That means we did not receive messages from other profiles that encouraged us to undergo conversations that would require payment. However, while doing our review, we received multiple notifications from other users. These notifications came from other accounts that liked our profile and asked us to get in touch with them.

The actual problem is the scam with a subscription trap. The platform does show the costs in an irritating and confusing way. The terms of cancellation are not completely clear. And the cancellation of premium memberships appears to be difficult. The operator of this portal is HowLogic KFT, which is a company based in Csomád, Hungary.

Details on the Senioren-Dates.com review

At first glance, Senioren-Dates.com looks great, and the landing page has a modern design, creating the impression of a promising experience. According to the information from the landing page, this website is a casual dating site for young men who are looking forward to meeting older women for erotic adventures. However, we did some online research, and we found a lot of negative reviews about this online dating platform. According to the experience of former users, this website is not reliable and has a bad reputation.

While doing our research on this website, we experienced the use of automated notifications and a big problem with the automatic renewal of the subscription. This website appears to be a subscription rip-off that uses automated notifications to lure users into a trap. It seems like this website does not have a fake chat service. While doing our review about this website, we did not receive messages from other profiles. However, the operator of this website admits in the Terms and Conditions that they use a service called “Profile Promotion”, which describes the automated broadcasts of communications.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 01/09/2025)

We reserve the right to occasionally offer our users an ability to promote their profile that may be activated in the Profile Settings. If you activate this function, it will automatically broadcast custom communications that may be created by you or selected from a list of templates with default prewritten text. We may choose which users can use such function of distribution of promoted communications. Distribution of such promotion messages will be made for free, but recipients who look through and decide to answer such messages must be Full Members to be able to answer the sender.

The problem with the automated renewal

The excerpt of the site´s legal information explains that profiles will automatically send messages and notifications to create more activity on the website. However, the real problem with this website is the rip-off with a subscription trap. This website offers different subscriptions for premium memberships. There is a one-month membership, which is very expensive. Moreover, there is a three-month premium membership, which is a little bit cheaper. Additionally, this website offers a one-week Trial Membership and a one-day Trial Membership. It is explained that the one-day Trial Membership will automatically renew to a membership for £49.99 per month.

The operator claims that it is possible to cancel this premium membership, which is actually impossible. The deadline for termination is not stated in the billing policy. Additionally, the deadline for termination in the Terms and Conditions, which is 12 hours, and only applies to any premium membership that is longer than three days but not the one-day trial membership. The operator of this website is HowLogic KFT, which is a company based in Csomád, Hungary.

The conclusion from our Senioren-Dates.com review

Senioren-Dates.com is a scam. The operator admits in the Terms and Conditions to using automated profile communications, which cannot be controlled by the user. These automated communication broadcasts are used to encourage new members to purchase premium memberships. The trial membership appears to be a trap. All subscriptions renew automatically if the user does not cancel within the deadline. The deadline for termination for the one-day trial membership is not clearly stated on their platform.
