Report for Seeking.com review

The online platform Seeking.com claims to be the place on the internet where beautiful people meet each other. The registration is for free and won’t take long to find your match. But as it turns out, the website is a cheeky scam and is non-reputable. W8Tech Cyprus LTD operates it.

The online dating website Seeking.com is a fake chat. All profiles and members are for an entertainment purpose only. It seems that it is not possible to find a real person in the member’s pool. Additionally, we found some reviews that claim that the costs of the portal originate via a subscription which is a trap. The subscription for the paid membership will extend automatically.

Details on the Seeking.com review

The online dating website Seeking.com advertises with a reasonable offer. Sad but true most of the details on the landing page are consciously wrong or irritating. The registration is for free, but after that, the website will charge a lot of money for a subscription. Additionally, the landing page shows the slogan that here you can update your relationship and arrange dates with others. But also that turned out to be wrong.

During our research, we found several negative reviews about the website and its operator. Former customers describe the site as a rip-off. Regarding the reviews on the internet, the member’s pool is full of fake profiles. But the fake profiles are not made up by other members just for fun. The fake profiles are operated by fake operators to entice the user to a chat and to pay for a premium membership subscription.

Fake chat

The website Seeking.com is a fake chat. The fake profiles are to rip off the user, but the operator claims that they have another use. The purpose of entertainment would be great, but there appears a problem. The user does not know about the fake profiles for entertainment and assumes that all members are real. Of course, as the landing page mentions that you will find a match here. Plus the fake operators will not identify themselves later.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 23/03/2024)

THIS SITE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

Seeking.com has the right to renew your membership from month to month automatically. UNTIL TERMINATED, Seeking MAY AUTOMATICALLY RENEW ALL PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR THE SERVICES ON THE DATE SUCH SUBSCRIPTIONS EXPIRE.

Fake operators

Additionally, we read in the reviews that the costs originate via a subscription. The fake operators entice the user to pay for the subscription. A member will need a paid premium-membership to send and read messages. The fake operators will get in touch with a user, but the user can’t read the messages. That will entice the user to pay for a subscription.

It is the real use of fake profiles and not the entertainment purpose. The fake operators lure the victim in a trap which is the subscription. The subscription will extend automatically. The operator W8Tech Cyprus LTD is located in Cyprus and mentions the automatic renewal in the terms and conditions.

The conclusion from our Seeking.com review

The online dating website Seeking.com is a fake chat and a subscription scam. The website’s member’s pool is full of fake profiles that are operated by fake operators. They will entice the user to buy a subscription for a paid membership which is a trap as it will extend automatically. It seems that it is not possible to find a single real person here on this platform.

I got kicked off of seeking.com after 3 months for supposedly soliciting sex on the site. I did meet a real person on the site and we are still dating as SD/SB, but their service is shit and they do not provide reasons for their actions. Can’t recommend.
