The result of our Saphrina.com review: Our test on Saphrina.com turned out to be an insufficient dating website.

Saphrina.com claims to be a suitable platform for finding extramarital affairs. But after conducting some research, we strongly doubt you can find a single real person, let alone an actual affair, on this website. And it is a subscription rip-off. While signing up and creating an account are free, using the chat feature unfortunately isn’t. To send messages to other members, a paid membership subscription is needed. But as these subscriptions extend automatically, they can quickly end in a long and costly subscription trap. The site operator is already well known for its subscription scams.

To make users sign up for risky subscriptions as fast as possible, Saphrina.com uses self-created fake profiles and automated fake messages. As most, if not all, member profiles appear to be fake, the chances of ever arranging a real affair here are exceedingly low. The company behind this rip-off is Blue Mouse Ltd from the Isle of Man. The online dating website Saphrina.com initially appears to be a trustworthy and legitimate dating platform. One can supposedly arrange extramarital affairs here. The site offers free registration and claims to be home to cheats from around the world, all of whom are looking for new experiences.

As always, we signed up and took a close look at the features and tools provided. Then we thoroughly perused the terms and conditions, searched the web for user reviews, and conducted some research on the site’s operator. Our investigations showed Saphrina.com is a poor choice. We cannot recommend that anyone registers here.

Subscription rip-off

Free basic membership only allows you to modify your personal profile, use the search tools and read incoming chat messages. But to send messages to others, you must first sign up for a paid membership subscription. However, these subscriptions cannot be recommended. They are subject to an automatic renewal billing policy, and cancelling them is rather challenging. You can therefore easily end up stuck in a long, costly subscription trap. The inexpensive trial memberships are particularly cheeky, since they are automatically converted to one of the pricey long-term subscriptions.

Fake profiles

Saphrina.com uses a cunning strategy to trick users into costly subscriptions as quickly as possible. The site’s employees create so-called “test dating profiles”, which are used to send enticing chat messages to new users right after their registration. In this way, users are made to believe they can find an affair here quickly. But the majority of “members” are in fact fake, and meeting them in real life is simply impossible.
