RoseMatch.com is a dating portal that offers an international chat service and translation tools. In theory, the goal is to connect Western men with Eastern European and/or Asian women. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find out the name of the operator. However, they did put together a brief set of text in their Terms and Conditions, where nothing really alarmed us except for the fact that we didn’t know who was responsible for this scam.

We created a simple profile and carefully analysed the website. We made sure our account would be as boring and unappealing as possible. While in the members’ area, we noticed the profiles were just too perfect. They all looked incredibly feminine, romantic, and submissive, as if responding to the stereotypes many Western men would expect from Eastern European or Asian women. Long story short, the site created a fantasy to lure users into a deceptive subscription. We found many online testimonials that aligned with our personal experience with the site.

No matter how much we searched, the name of the operator was nowhere to be found. We don’t even know where they are located. That is a pretty bad sign and usually an indication of a rip-off. After countless reviews, we know having anonymous operators is bad news because it will be impossible for users to take legal action if they run into trouble with the site.

Harsh criticism

We scoured the internet in search of online reviews referring to the experiences of former users. We found a few reviews trying to warn other people who might be interested in joining this website.
