    Report for RealFling.com review

The online dating website RealFling.com has a classic, kind of boring design on the landing page and offers free registration. We look for other significant information, like additional costs after the enrollment, but there is none.

The design is known to us, as well as the operator, a company from Nicosia, Cyprus. They are always using another name for their rip-off websites. This time the alias is RealFling. The online dating portal RealFling.com is not different at all. The hookup website is using faked profiles, animators, and a moderated chat, to entice the members to buy pricey memberships which are subscription traps. We find hundreds of horrible reviews from former members complaining about the use of computer-generated virtual profiles, moderated chats and the subscriptions with automatic renewals.

    Details on the RealFling.com review

The dating portal RealFling.com presents itself to the visitor with a clean but boring starting page. There is nothing special here at all, besides the fact that the operator RealFling is based in Nicosia, Cyprus, and is using the exact same design for plenty of other online dating portals. All of them are, without any exception, a big scam and have a terrible reputation.

After the registration, the user needs to provide specific information like gender, date of birth, location, mail address and preferences, then he will be redirected to the main members’ area.

But before we do the final sign up we read the fine print, and find the first proof that the operator is using fantasy profiles, so-called Online Cupids, to entertain the members and operate a moderated chat.

The fine print from the starting page:

“Online Cupids® which are fantasy profiles operated by the site for entertainment and compliance.”

Once the enrollment is done, the new member will be transferred to the main page. The site has a classic interface with the usual features like search functions, filters, profile section, and other services, like adult games and live cams. The rest of the page is occupied with many previews of existing members which means faked profiles, and the rip-off just starts there. Shortly after the enrolment, the new member will get dozens of messages and emails from the non-existent faked women, just to lure the newbie into a membership upgrade. This VIP membership is necessary if you want to read and reply to any of the messages you receive. The operator not only mentions the faked profile in the fine print on the starting page, but they are also mentioned in the terms and conditions.

"You understand and accept that our site, while built in the form of a personals service, is an entertainment service. All profiles are provided for the amusement and entertainment of our members and our users. You are not guaranteed that you will find a date, a companion, or an activity partner or meet any of our members in person.”

We find many testimonies on the internet from disappointed and angry users complaining about the fictitious profiles, the moderated chats, and the subscription which will lead you into an expensive trap. The subscription will extend automatically and is hard to terminate.

The excerpt from the terms and conditions:

"Automatic Renewals. IF YOU PAY FOR A MEMBERSHIP BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD (OR OTHER PAYMENT METHOD INVOLVING AN AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING MEMBERSHIP).”

The conclusion from our RealFling.com review

The online dating portal RealFling.com is an excellent example of a rip-off website. With a moderated chat, computer-generated profiles and automatic messages, the members will be lured into expensive membership upgrades. Misleading information is another part of the scam.
