Report for PlanetOfBrides.com review

PlanetOfBrides.com is an online dating platform for men looking for a Russian bride. The website is managed by Provident Business Associates LLP, a company based in London. This isn’t the first time we have written reviews about this company with mixed results. Some platforms managed by this dating service provider were legit, whereas others are clearly scams. For this reason, we decided to conduct a little research. Sadly, our experience with this website was negative, as it clearly turned out to be a rip-off.

The landing page shows many gorgeous women who are supposedly members of the platform. Registration is free of charge, but the user needs to pay to send or read messages, whether in text or video format.  As soon as we logged in, we started receiving countless messages from spectacular potential brides. Sadly, the terms of use revealed the existence of a fake chat service populated by fictitious profiles. Theoretically, these are there for test purposes. The truth is they contact you non-stop, so you’ll get tempted to pay for communicating with them.

Details on the PlanetOfBrides.com review

PlanetOfBrides.com is an online dating portal for men interested in finding a Russian bride. There are countless platforms like this one, and many of them are rip-offs. Sadly, this was also the case. The website features a fake chat service filled with fictitious profiles who incessantly contact you if you are newly registered. Their goal is luring new users into buying credits to communicate with them.

However, there’s no way these conversations could ever lead to marriage. The terms and conditions revealed that the company reserves the right to create so-called test profiles. These are indistinguishable from real members, if there are any authentic members at all.

Extremely expensive chat

In order to communicate with other members, a user must purchase credits. These are virtual tokens that are sold in bundles. They have no validity in the real world. To give you an idea of the cost, 20 credits can be bought for €12. However, this is only enough to send two text messages or watch one presentation video. In other words, you can only imagine how expensive that marriage could turn out to be, if it would ever amount to anything.

Unfortunately for users, finding a Russian bride will never happen on this site, even if you were willing to spend an outrageous amount of money. The platform is clearly designed to keep you hooked to a useless chat. We don’t even know if the photographs correspond to a real person behind the profile. This seems highly unlikely, as every single female member looks like a model. In our experience, this is a huge red flag, and the platform is clearly a rip-off designed to scam its users.

You acknowledge and agree that users of the Website may be part of an online community that includes other websites owned by the Company or its affiliates (“Affiliate Websites”). Therefore, with your consent, we may use your profile on the Website to populate registration and profile information on the Affiliate Websites.

Not all users or Members are available for communication. From time to time, we may create test profiles in order to monitor the operation of the Website and its Services.

Data privacy issues

Another aspect of this platform that we found highly concerning is that London based, Provident Business Associates LLP reserves the right to use your profile on other platforms within their network. This basically means that your profile could potentially go on to become one of the fake profiles used to legitimate similar fake chats. In other words, whatever you post may be used to rip off unknowing members like yourself. This is an important detail that has been purposefully hidden in the terms and conditions.

The conclusion from our PlanetOfBrides.com review

PlanetOfBrides.com is an online dating platform that targets people looking for a Russian bride. The operator of this platform is Provident Business Associates LLP, based in London. Unfortunately, we have written about this company before, and the reviews were mixed. This time they have created a fake chat dating site filled with fictitious profiles. In order to communicate, users must purchase credits which are extremely expensive. However, no matter how much money users might spend, it is pretty much impossible that it will ever lead to a real-life marriage.
