OnlyGuys.dating review

OnlyGuys.dating is an online dating platform for gay men who wish to find a lover, or a boyfriend, nearby. This website is managed by Paidwings AG. This company is based in Cham, in Switzerland. The landing page does not reveal much about the content. It only shows a man lovingly kissing another, on the forehead.  We know, from experience, that reliable operators give more details about their services and what a potential client might expect. So, this is not promising. Furthermore, we know this operator well. They control a network of useless online dating scams, and they never impress us.

Sadly, this was no exception. While preparing this review, we set up a boring profile, and analyzed the Terms of Use thoroughly. The legal disclaimer sounds like gibberish at times, and it never acknowledges that the company creates fake profiles. It was rather confusing, although it did not openly admit to creating fictitious users. As usual with this company, it is free to register, but this is totally useless. You cannot see any profile photos, or chat with anyone, unless you purchase a risky membership.

It displays a series of labels, which are supposed to inspire trust, but they mean absolutely nothing.  The website is managed by Paidwings AG, which is a company based in Cham, in Switzerland.

Tricky subscription

We discovered that all profiles were blurred when we accessed the website. There was no way to evaluate if the accounts were quality profiles or not. So, anyone interested in a subscription would basically have to risk it. Further, the membership is not exactly cheap, and it entails recurring payments. There is nothing suspicious about the cancellation terms, but we know from experience, that this operator is not trustworthy.

As we usually do for our reviews, we looked for former clients’ opinions. Our search revealed that many users were furious at the company, after going through an ordeal, in trying to cancel their membership. The company seems to ignore all requests to terminate the agreement, so many people have decided to warn others about these flaky scammers. We do not have definitive proof that this is the case here, but Paidwings AG has not given us any good reasons to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Fake chat

This website is part of a network of similar dating websites. As we signed in, we were asked several times, if we wanted to participate in a messaging system, which is shared with these other websites. We declined, as we intentionally wanted to keep things as simple as possible. Our goal was to check if it was possible to find a real hookup here, but to no avail. Even if you paid for a membership, you never know if all you are getting here, are automatically generated messages. This subscription rip-off is a total waste of time.

We found out that it is impossible to meet anyone in real life through this platform. You can only see other members’ photos if you buy a premium membership. But there is no point. You will never know if you are just chatting with an algorithm, since this website is part of a network of fake chat scams, with a common messaging system.
