The website was created by Paidwings AG, a company registered in the town of Cham in Switzerland. The landing page provides little to no information that is relevant to prices or the services that are offered by the site. It also displays a sweet picture of an elderly couple where the woman is in her man’s arms.

A tiny disclaimer on the landing page near the registration template guarantees that all the profiles are manually verified to ensure that the members are real. However, we had serious doubts about this claim. After all, we have extensive experience in writing online reviews about this operator. We know they consistently create new scams that feature fake chat services. OlderDating.site is no different.

OlderDating.site is an online dating portal for senior citizens. It is not entirely clear if it is a hook-up website or rather a service for people interested in something more long-term. Fake chat service

The website contains a feature called “Promote my Profile.” The user is pushed into allowing this function to happen when they sign up. However, it’s not necessarily needed for users to join the website. However, since users are pushed into using it, it certainly looks like it is needed. “Promote my Profile” allows the system to send messages on behalf of users. In our experience, this will happen even without being logged in. That is done so that the operator can create an illusion that makes the members’ area seemingly full of activity.

The information above can also be reflected in the Terms and Conditions where the company explains how they will use all the users’ content for their own use. By copying information from genuine profiles, Paidwings AG manages to populate dozens of unknown dating websites. It also explains why many profile photos on the platform do not even belong to seniors. The scams in their network all share the same user database. Even with the blurred-out pictures, we can guess that most photos were of professional models.

The User grants paidwings a non-exclusive, transferable right not restricted in space, but limited in time by the contractual term, to use the content created or provided by him/her on the Service, including pictures, texts and videos.

Expensive rip-off

As we have already mentioned, we couldn’t even see the profiles properly. The only way we could was to become a premium member. Being a premium member is the only way to access all the features of the chat service even though there is nothing to gain from it. Joining the platform is quite pricey. The monthly fee changes depending on which country users log in from. The price can go down if users choose to pay for a longer subscription.

According to the company, it claims to provide a “date guarantee.” Supposedly, users will get their money back if they don’t meet anyone on OlderDating.site. We find this hard to believe. In fact, after countless reviews, we know that simply ending the subscription will be highly troublesome.
