OkAmour.com run by Sempiterna Digital LTD from Strovolos, Cyprus, claims to connect like-minded people under the slogan ‘let love find you.’ We encountered this site’s operator in previous reviews before, and the experience was not pleasant. The same can be said for this site. A smiling blond woman welcomed us on the landing page and when we scrolled down, we took a quick look at some user profiles and their introduction videos. These users already seemed inauthentic due to the high-quality pictures and once we entered the members’ area, we were pretty sure most if not all profiles were fake.

Even though we did not upload any pictures or provided any information on our profile, we were still contacted by other users as soon as we liked their profile. This kind of interest in our profile was pretty unrealistic. Sempiterna Digital LTD has a history of running scam sites and trying to rip off its users, which may be the same case here. We found evidence of a fake chat service and a non-transparent, expensive coin-based messaging system.

They all contacted us or texted us back trying to lure us into a conversation. Safe to say, we were either chatting with a chatbot or an employee of the operator.

Given the fact that we were contacted by at least six users after only a few minutes, we’d have to spend a lot of money to keep up with all these conversations.

At the same time, we were given very little information during the billing process. There was no further information besides the price, the order number, and the payment options. This is why users should refrain from providing their credit card details here. Needless to say, users should not even think about spending money here, since they would only be able to chat with fake profiles. OkAmour.com is only meant to rip off its users and is clearly a scam.

The website uses fake chat services to lure users into conversations. These conversations can only be upheld by paying for coins that are needed to send more messages. This review showed that finding a real person with a serious interest in us on OkAmour.com is unlikely if not impossible. Users should refrain from using this dating platform.
