At first glance, NaughtyHookups.co.uk looks rather promising. The site seems to be a great place to meet local singles who are interested in naughty, casual sex dates.
To find out if the site is truly as great as it appears to be, we created a free account and do some research. First, we browsed the members’ area, and thoroughly studied the terms and conditions. Then, we searched the internet for user experiences and reviews. Unfortunately, we soon discovered that the site is nothing but a rip-off with a fake chat.
After the free registration, users can only browse the members’ area, use the search tools, and send “winks” to others. In order to properly communicate, they must first purchase so-called “credits”, which can then be exchanged for sending messages in the chat. As each and every sent message must be paid for separately, even a relatively short flirt can already become extremely expensive.
Reading the terms and conditions, we found out that chatting here is totally pointless, and unlikely to ever result in a date. The site is for entertainment purposes only, and the members’ area is full of fictitious profiles. These fake profiles are created and managed by professional fake chat operators, who are employed by the site’s operator. Therefore, the entire chat experience is just a waste of money and time.
We find the following note in the terms and conditions
The purpose of this website is to enable (erotic) chat conversations between fictitious profiles and users, and therefore, contains fictitious profiles. Physical meetings are not possible with these fictitious profiles.
Cheeky chat operators
From our experience, the employed fake chat operators are trained to lure as many chat messages as possible out of each user. Their goal is to make them buy a lot of “credits”, in order to raise the site’s profits.
NaughtyHookups.co.uk is operated by BD Technologies AG, who are based in Zug, Switzerland. This company is responsible for several other rip-off websites, all of which use the exact same tricks and strategies to make their users spend more money. Some of these sites have already received plenty of negative reviews online from disappointed customers.
