Report for MyFlingNearby.com review
The online dating portal MyFlingNearby.com presents itself with an average, almost old fashioned design. The site claims to be an online social community with thousands of open-minded people looking for their ideal match. We see a small preview of the members’ area and the invitation to a free sign up.
Not a lot of real information is given on the landing page, like additional costs after the registration. We scroll down to the end of the page, and we see the notice that this portal is using moderators to entertain the members.
We have a look at the terms and conditions and learn that the operator is Direct Marketing B.V., with headquarters in Den Haag, The Netherlands.

Details on the MyFlingNearby.com review
MyFlingNearby.com advertises with a safe environment, 100% discreet and anonymous and promises that finding the right match will be easy because they have the "right formula". Sounds not too bad at all. On the starting page, the users receive free tips about how to be very successful in finding the right match: "Be a gentleman, Be yourself, Be confident."
We do some research on the internet and find out that all the promises are wrong and misleading. The portal is a moderated chat and has many bad reviews from former members.
The operator is using employees, so-called moderators, to invite the newbie to chat with them. Charmed by plenty of messages, often with sexual content, the new member would like to reply. But this is not possible with a free membership alone, the user needs to buy credits to use the chat or send messages.
This "service" is expensive and mentioned in the terms and conditions:
“The User shall pay the amounts due for the Service, by means of acquiring credits directly by the User through bank transfer or credit card payment.”
The operator, Direct Marketing B.V., with headquarters in Den Haag, The Netherlands, mentions the use of moderators in the terms and conditions. The user is unaware of anything amiss, because of incorrect information on the landing page. The new member has no idea that he is having a costly chat with paid moderators hiding behind fantasy profiles, just to seduce the naïve user to spend more and more money on senseless conversations. The members’ pool is full of faked profiles, and there will never be a real meeting.
The moderated chat is also mentioned in the terms and conditions:
“Physical contacts are not possible In all circumstances. myflingnearby.com has entertainment as its goal, it is explicitly not the purpose of myflingnearby.com to establish dates or meetings in person. These are fictious profiles with which no physical agreements are possible.”
This is absolutely contrary to all the information given on the landing page. The site is a big scam, a moderated chat.
The conclusion from our MyFlingNearby.com review
The operator, Direct Marketing B.V., dupes the customers with wrong and misleading information into expensive chats, by using moderators with fantasy profiles. The moderated conversation is a common scam on many online dating sites.
