Report for MyAffair.co.uk review

The online dating platform MyAffair.co.uk advertises with free registration and verified members. The site promises to be a great place to find local members who are interested in secret affairs. But as soon as we have a closer look at the terms and conditions, the site turns out to be a rip-off with a subscription trap.

The operator behind the site is well-known for their scams. Qualidates AG, which is based in the Swiss town of Steinhausen, operates a whole network of dating websites. They have an extremely poor reputation on the internet. Without a paid membership subscription, these websites are completely useless. But once subscribed, users are trapped. The termination deadlines can easily be missed, and it is almost impossible to cancel the subscriptions. Therefore, we cannot recommend anyone to register on MyAffair.co.uk, or any other website run by Qualidates AG.

Details on the MyAffair.co.uk review

Already at first sight, the online dating portal MyAffair.co.uk does not look particularly trustworthy. The landing page clearly lacks information, and the overall design seems rather cheap. However, the site advertises with free registration and promises to be a perfect platform to find secret affairs in no time. As usual, we do some research on the internet and read the terms and conditions. As soon as we read the name of the site’s operator, we have no more doubts that it is a rip-off.

Subscription traps

After the free registration, MyAffair.co.uk turns out to be rather useless. Only paying premium-members have access to the chat and other features. Unfortunately, all premium-membership subscriptions renew automatically if they are not cancelled in time. Users are not sufficiently informed about the tight termination deadlines. Thus, they can easily be missed. Moreover, the cancellation terms are rather complicated, and the customer service is known to be very poor. Consequently, many users end up in an expensive subscription trap. Some even seek legal advice to help with the difficult cancellation process.

Infamous operator with a poor reputation

MyAffair.co.uk is operated by Qualidates AG, which is based in Steinhausen, Switzerland. The company is well-known on the internet and has got an extremely poor reputation. It operates a whole network of online dating websites, many of which we have already tested. Unfortunately, they all turned out to be scams. On the internet, we find many negative reports by former customers, who have had some terrible experiences with this company.

Some of them claim, that all Qualidates AG websites are filled with fake profiles, which are used to lure users into the paid memberships. Proof for a fake chat is missing, but due to the bad reputation of the company, it is rather a probability than a possibility. Therefore, we strongly recommend everyone to never register on any of their websites.

The conclusion from our MyAffair.co.uk review

Unfortunately, the online dating portal MyAffair.co.uk turns out to be a rip-off and can therefore not be recommended. To be able to use the chat and other interesting features, a paid premium-membership is needed. But these memberships extend automatically and can easily lead into expensive subscription traps. Furthermore, the operator of the site is well-known for their scams and cannot be trusted.

    Nothing more than a scam.

I did manage to get the membership cancelled. This was hidden in the small print but the terms tell you what is needed & confirmation was received quickly.

The members themselves, or at least the ones I “spoke” to all followed the same structure of messages. The word handsome is common throughout all contact. Almost immediately you are being encouraged to chat on Google. The conversation follows the usual pattern. They ask you for all the things on your website profile. You get the usual photos that show a beautiful young lady but a quick Google photo search shows images have usually been lifted from Instagram.

    Stay well clear..
