The online dating website LocalFlirt.co.uk claims to be a social platform for singles. The operator mentions that here it will be easy to find a sex date which the registration is free. But as there are some hints on the landing page that made us curious we did some research. It turns out that this website is a fake chat scam by Connect Media.

LocalFlirt.co.uk claims it is a moderated fake chat. This means that fake operators operate fake profiles to entice the users into a conversation which the users have to pay for. The customers on the dating website do not know anything about the fake chats and assume every profile is real. The users get tricked and ripped-off.

Fake profiles

The first hint is the gender-ratio with 69 percent of female members. Only 31 percent of all users are male members which is too good to be true. The next hint we see are profile pictures on the landing page appear to be fake. The landing page also shows a good rating but it also seems to be fake. With our research we also checked the terms and conditions of the dating platform and found clear evidence. The terms and conditions mention that the website use fake profiles for the entertainment of the users.

Additionally the operator describes the platform as an entertainment service. This means that it is only possible to have a chat with a profile but nothing more. The problem is that the landing page promises hot sex dates and more. This information is wrong and tricks the users. Every profile on LocalFlirt.co.uk is a fake profile and is operated by a fake operator. The profile pictures shows a fictitious person so a date will never happen.
