Report for KinkyTemptation.com review

KinkyTemptation.com is an online dating portal which seems to target people who are looking for casual encounters. Judging by the name, one may think this platform aims at those interested in kinky sex. But we do not see anything about that, on the platform. This lack of accord, between the domain name, and the overall impression we get from the website, is the first red flag we noticed. The portal has been created by Master Focus LTD, which is a company registered in Belfast, in the United Kingdom.

The landing page does not say much about the service. It features some profile photos of women who are supposed to be members of the platform. Apparently, this website has around 1.7 million members, which sounds like a wild claim, in our experience. We can also read some status updates by users of the platform. For this review, we created a minimalistic profile, and analysed the Terms of Use. We also found out as much as possible about the operator’s reputation.

Details on the KinkyTemptation.com review

KinkyTemptation.com is an online dating platform which seems confusing. There appears to be nothing kinky about it, so the domain name seems like a random choice. The platform is controlled by Master Focus LTD, which is a company based in Belfast, in Northern Ireland. While writing this review, we found out that the portal is full of fictitious profiles. These automatically target new users. The goal is not to provide you with opportunities to meet real people, so, we are certain that the company only wants to scam you.

Sultry fake chat

After creating our boring profile, we signed in for the first time. Immediately, we started receiving messages from women who are interested in starting a conversation with us. This is not what we were expecting, since our test profile is designed to be as boring as possible. No real human would contact an empty profile, with a bio full of random letters. This tells us that the people, approaching us, are not real. This is further confirmed by the Terms and Conditions. The portal has only been created to provide a virtual “entertainment” experience, but it is a rip-off.

So, these characters are only there to trick you into spending a ridiculous amount of money on this useless chat. If chatting with fictional “cybergirls,” is your thing, there is no harm. However, the operator is not straightforward about it. These scam companies know very well that users rarely read the Terms of Use. Moreover, the characters approaching you should be clearly identifiable as fictional. This portal is, therefore, a treacherous rip-off.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 10/02/2023)

From time to time, while You use Our Services, You may interact with automated online accounts and/or false profiles, which all its content has been generated by either: a) real persons that have been only contracted or employed by Us for the purposes set-forth below; or/and b) by automated programs or scripts, which dialogues none really exist and have been generated exclusively by programming (“Automated Profiles”).

The purpose of the implementation of Automated Profiles in Our Website is to enhance Your amusement experience and providing You with entertaining and conversational services, so You can be stimulated to use Our Services more extensively, for example, by helping You to intercommunicate better with other users which are actually real.

Risky membership

Imagine that you are aware of the fictional nature of the chat, and you still decide to sign up. Keep in mind that these cheeky companies often make it extremely difficult to cancel your subscription rip-off. According to our experience, they tend to ignore cancellation requests, or they come with ridiculous requirements, which are impossible to fulfil. Since the subscription entails recurring payments, they keep charging you for as long as possible. In this case, we have no definite proof, but considering all the red flags we managed to identify, it is probably wise to stay away.

The conclusion from our KinkyTemptation.com review

KinkyTemptation.com is a casual dating platform which is confusing. The website does not have any content related to kinks, so, we wonder what the goal of this portal is. It turns out that it was only created for virtual entertainment. The portal is a scam by Master Focus LTD, which is a company registered in Belfast, in the United Kingdom. The fishy profiles in the fake chat are there to trick you into signing up for a dodgy subscription.
