It all sounded very promising, and the landing page even looked good despite having only pictures of women. However, it should be a dating website for both men and women. Apart from that negative aspect, it seemed like a proper dating website that helps users find what they’re looking for.

Unfortunately, if users were to look a little deeper, they would find that this dating website doesn’t help users find what they’re looking for at all. Instead, they will use fake operators and fake chat scams to lure them into buying credits. If users want to find kinky locals, the chances are very low on this site. When we first entered KinkyLocals.co.uk to write this review, we saw some pictures and names of promising profiles. We noticed that they only show profiles of women even though it is supposed to be a dating platform for both men and women. Its offer was for users to experience interesting and fun online flirts nearby without having to waste time looking for them. If something sounds too good to be true, maybe that’s because it is too good to be true.

And there it was: a pop-up window appeared that said the website contained fictitious profiles. It also said that the purpose of the website was to enable chat conversations between users and fictitious profiles. The user of the dating website will not be able to meet in person with whoever is behind these fictitious profiles. That is the first sign of a fake chat rip-off. Proof of this can also be found at the bottom of the landing page and in the GTC (General Terms & Conditions).

Fake chat services

As you can read above, KinkyLocals.co.uk owned by Midsummer Online BV based in Middelburg, The Netherlands, does not permit real-life meetings with other users. Instead, users will only be able to interact with fictitious profiles that they will not be able to meet. To send messages to these ‘fake chat’ operators, users will have to buy credits. This means that users will end up paying to talk to fictitious characters.

This is not the only rip-off that this company is guilty of. Additionally, the credits users need to buy to talk to other users will expire after 90 days. If they do not use their credits within 90 days, they will expire, and the user will have just wasted their money.

As you can see in the GTC, KinkyLocals.co.uk does not undergo any background checks on its members. KinkyLocals.co.uk does not verify the validity of statements made by its members. As a result, users can only question whether the profiles they see are real or not.

Instead, it is a website with a fake chat scam that has no intention of letting its users meet other users.
