Report for JustShags.co.uk review review

The platform JustShags.co.uk advertises with a free registration and a large member area. As there are many active users who are open and looking for a quick date it should be an easy thing to find a date. However, our research shows that the website is a subscription rip off of the well-known scam company Paidwings AG.

The Paidwings AG operates several hundred of such platform and continuously entice numerous customers into a subscription trap. That works with the offer of a premium membership as a test version as the other offers are too expensive. But non membership is worth it as all profiles on the pages are a fake according to customer experiences which we found on the internet.

Details on the JustShags.co.uk review review

The online dating site JustShags.co.uk lures its customers into a subscription rip off. The scam works thanks to misleading and false information about the platform plus fake profiles that are operated by fake operator.

According to experience reports all profiles in the member’s area are a fake. The landing page guarantees a free registration. This information is not really wrong but it still serves to rip off and mislead. The registration is free of charge but afterwards the website charges very high costs in form of a subscription.

Premium membership

After the registration the new user receives a basic membership, which costs nothing, but it is also completely useless. With the basic membership it is not possible to see the profile pictures of other users, send or read messages. Plus after the registration the new user receives a lot of messages from other members in a short time. In order to be able to read them, however, the user requires a premium membership.

Later it turns out that the messages come from fake operator and their fake profiles. The Paidwings AG does not mention fake profiles or fake operators in the terms and conditions but numerous experience reports point out that fake profiles exist.

Messages come from fake operator and their fake profiles

All pages of the Paidwings AG offer the customer a test version of the subscription with a two week term. The costs for this are compared very less about one Pound for example. If one accepts the offer, the subscription trap is snaps. The cancellation period for the trial subscription is two weeks as well. That means you have to cancel the subscription immediately after buying it.

Otherwise the trial subscription is automatically extended to several months. The costs for the premium membership are with approximately 60-90 Pounds per month are extremely high. The Paidwings AG is well known to us and we found a lot of negative reviews and customer experiences. The company is from Cham in Switzerland and operates a large network of rip off dating platforms.

Same crap form this low life company! Signed up for a month to see if it’s any good or a waste of time. Absolute joke of a site, all fake profiles. I msg’d hundreds of girls to get a reply, only fake admins came back to me. They took my money, couldn’t cancel it, Ended up cutting up and cancelling my card for which I paid on. Now getting solicitor letters from Germany demand 115 euros to pay them. I’m paying them obliviously, because how do I know they won’t come back and demand more money again in the future? Need help and advise on this

I cancelled and deleted my account, but they’re still sending emails claiming they’re going to take legal action.
It’s a scam site, no one should go anywhere near it.

    Hi All,

Does anyone know if Fairmount can affect your credit rating if they try to enforce payment. I am unable to terminate my contract/account.

However, I have an email in from their Solicitors – Auer Witte Thiel, that states towards the bottom of the email the following:-

    Dated 19th June 2020

We request that you comply strictly with this term of payment to avoid any further inconvenience.

For Payment by bank transfer, here is a summary of the details you require for the transfer:

    Account holder: Auer Witte Thiel
    Bank: Postbank (Giro)
    IBAN :DE76 7001 0080 0005 2018 07
    BIC: PBNKDEFFXXX
    Amount: EUR 105,33 (GBP 94,22)
    Subject: 35620188373

Please note that if the time limit were to lapse to no avail we would be forced to instruct a law firm
on the spot to further process and pursue before the courts the claim against you, which would
entail inconvenience and further costs for you.

Insofar as the currently owed amount is transferred entirely and on time, we can confirm you that
the contract is ended and no further claims brought against you.

I paid the outstaying bill along with costs on the 22nd June. However, they have still not ended my contract as of today. Even though it states …… the contract will be ended and no further claims brought against you.

    What should I do?

    Thanks Kevin

I was checking out this website , it was saying confirm your credit details for age proof , free access etc. Next minute money was taken out of my Credit Card almost immediately. luckily by Bank Phoned me up there was unauthorized money taken out my account. They immediately canceled my Credit Card and issued a replacement one., Now getting the same messages from the same Solicitors for non-payments etc. Which I haven’t paid anything. This is very wrong of people to do this.

Sorry.. Anon again. The other couple of things I wanted to mention is that it is very unsettling to receive those Fairmount emails, I know. You have to stay strong in your own mind and try to talk to someone you trust for mental support, it really does help.

Lastly, it says something about a company that knows it’s scamming people when they have a dedicated email template they send out to warn someone a charge back – it must happen all the time.

Sadly it doesn’t teach these lower than low, disgusting sad excuses for human beings who own these sites to up their game and improve their business practices.

To anyone who hasn’t been through this: STAY AWAY from this site, and anything else that uses paidwings.

Fairmount are their debt collectors and I imagine (for them) business is booming with cleaning up after the scummy scammy owners of this pathetic dating site.

If you want to cancel a sub send an email to [email protected] from the address used to register on the site in order to trigger a support request.

If you dispute the transactions with your credit card company they contact paidwings who have 30 days to provide evidence back to the credit card company (not to you direct), should they actually respond (which they won’t), you would have 10 days to provide new evidence if necessary.

If you have cancelled the subscription and they still threaten you via Fairmount, send Fairmount an email with the cancellation email to say you did cancel and your money was taken without authorisation. Then cease all communication.

The emails come from [email protected] which is a weird domain but having checked with InterNetX (their domain host), it does belong to Fairmount.de

It will cost them far far more to pursue it through a court – this is based on my own experience and discussions with my legal counsel.

    Stay away at all costs.

    Hi Khokhar,

Just ignore it. the company is unable to enforce this transaction as the payment is not a direct debit. My bank classed it as fraudulent and cancelled any payments.
