    Report for Hookupers.com review

Hookupers.com describes itself as a brand-new dating platform for everybody who is in search of true love and sincere conversations. Unfortunately, after some research, the site turns out to be a rip-off.

The free basic membership is basically completely useless because only paying premium subscribers are granted access to the communication features. Unfortunately, the premium subscriptions extend automatically and are very difficult to cancel. Therefore, the site is a subscription trap scam.

Furthermore, the members’ pool is full of fictional profiles, which are created by the site’s staff members. These fake profiles are only used to lure new users into the chat and the paid services. But finding a genuine person for a date here is highly unlikely.

The site’s operator is Digital International Inc, from the Marshall Islands. They are responsible for numerous other scam websites. Online, they have got a poor reputation and regularly receive negative reviews from disappointed customers.

    Details on the Hookupers.com review

Hookupers.com claims to provide all the features and tools needed to find true love and sincere conversations. At first sight, the portal appears trustworthy, inviting, and promising.

As usual, we take a closer look at the members’ pool and study the terms and conditions carefully. Further, we search the internet for user experiences, reviews, success stories, and complaints. Our research shows that the site is not trustworthy at all and that the chances of finding true love here are basically zero.

    Do not sign up

The registration is free and easy. However, the free basic membership quickly turns out to be rather useless. All interesting features, particularly the chat, can only be used by paying premium subscribers. Unfortunately, these subscriptions are dangerous traps. They renew automatically and must be cancelled by the user to stop recurring charges. Cancelling is not so easy, though. The site’s operator is responsible for several other dating platforms, which are known subscription rip-offs. Consequently, we strongly advise you to refrain from signing up for any of the premium subscriptions offered.

    Pointless chat

Besides the risks posed by the subscriptions, there is another major issue that makes Hookupers.com a scam website. The members’ area contains so-called “staff profiles”, which are created by employed fake chat operators and used to interact with the users. As we see it, their main purpose is to lure new users into a flirty chat conversation and to trick them into signing up for one of the costly subscriptions.

The following excerpt is from the terms and conditions

We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained, and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”). The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to enable us to ensure our Services are operating properly by testing the Services, features, and functionalities and to research our products and Services. Such Staff profiles may perform certain activities using artificial intelligence and/or scripted actions.

    Probably only fake members

Since the fake profiles are not marked as such, they cannot be distinguished from regular member profiles. Therefore, none of the members can be trusted and finding a real person for a date is extremely unlikely.

The operator behind this scam is Digital International Inc, from the Marshall Islands. This company is responsible for several other dating websites and has already received numerous negative reviews and customer complaints on the internet.

The conclusion from our Hookupers.com review

Hookupers.com is a rip-off. The members’ pool is full of fake profiles created and controlled by the site’s staff. Thus, finding a real person for a date here is highly unlikely. Moreover, the chat can only be used by paying subscribers. But the subscriptions extend automatically and are extremely difficult to cancel. Therefore, they can easily lead to a subscription trap. The site’s operator is already known for its scams and regularly receives negative reviews online.
