Report for HoobClub.com review

HoobClub.com claims to be the largest dating website in the UK. They guarantee to help you find the love of your dreams. All you need to do is register for free and be open to meeting someone special. According to what we read on the landing page, over 1000 new members join every day. They are seeking genuine experiences, with real people. Our review will prove that this statement is highly misleading.

Many of the profiles that you find in the search are fictional. HoobClub.com contains fake accounts, which are controlled by professional moderators. The goal of this fake chat scam is to lure you into a paid subscription. As opposed to what is implied on the homepage, HoobClub.com is not free of charge. The site’s operator is Advanced Networks ADT SRL, who are based in Iasi, in Romania. This company is already infamous for many other similar rip-offs.

Details on the HoobClub.com review

HoobClub.com invites you to join, and to take your online dating experience to a new level. Finding your next soulmate seems to be extra easy on this platform. After creating your profile, you can browse through thousands of possible matches. Once you come across someone who sparks your interest, you can start chatting. The next step will be to ask them out on a date. The attraction will take care of everything else.

The offer seems unmissable, but we must advise you against signing up on HoobClub.com. This website is nothing more than a fake chat scam. Right after our registration, we received a few suspicious messages. We checked the Terms and Conditions, but we could not find evidence of any rip-off. So, we decided to have a closer look at all the other documents.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 11/04/2023)

We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”).

Fake chat operators

HoobClub.com promises that you can talk to real people, with real feelings. But the User Guide mentions “staff profiles”. These are fake accounts, which are created and maintained by professional moderators who work for the company. Their purpose is to convince you that you are chatting with genuine members, who are looking for a romantic date. Unfortunately, this is not true.

Fooled by the enticing messages that they receive from these fake profiles, new users will be more likely to spend money on HoobClub.com. Finding a real companion to meet outside the platform is almost impossible because most of the conversations happen with fake chat operators.

It is not free

The basic free membership has strong limitations. Basically, it is useless because you cannot send messages to other members. To do that, you must upgrade your account, by purchasing a premium membership, which renews automatically. We suspect that this could be a trap. However, we did not find clear evidence of a subscription rip-off.

Advanced Networks ADT SRL is the company that runs HoobClub.com. This Romanian operator, from Iasi, has a bad reputation online. They have already attracted countless negative reviews from former customers.

The conclusion from our HoobClub.com review

HoobClub.com turns out to be a dangerous dating platform, where users end up spending a lot of money to chat with professional moderators. The member’s area is full of fantasy profiles, which cannot even be distinguished from genuine ones, if there are any. Therefore, purchasing a premium membership is a waste of money. There are almost zero chances of finding someone to arrange a real date. HoobClub.com is just a fake chat scam.
