The online dating platform Good-Shag.com tries to catch your eye, with many profiles on the main page. You pass through the registration process quickly and easily. After signing up, you see many profiles of people who you can contact. Half of them show an adult photo, as a profile picture. So, we quickly noticed what this site is all about, from this page. After texting 8 messages, we received the information that we must purchase a subscription package if we want to send more messages. Our messages disappeared, and we did not see our chats again.

We must purchase a subscription. We would have done so, but in the Terms and Conditions, we found out that the operator Salamandra Web SL, from Barcelona, in Spain is using imaginary profiles to “entertain” users. This is not what we want to pay for. Therefore, we rate this platform as a fake chat scam.

After the registration process, which is done very quickly, we enter to the main page of the platform Good-Shag.com. The website’s layout reminded us of the Facebook homepage. Many profiles show a lot more than just their face, or vested body. This is certainly an 18+ website. We started chatting with some members who are very responsive.

After texting 8 messages, we received the information that we must purchase a subscription package if we want to send more messages. The funny thing is that you are unable to see your messages anymore. The only way to continue is to spend money.

Subscription packages

The packages they offer are 7 days for 9.90GBP, 1 month for 36.90GBP, 3 months for 68.00GBP, and 6 months for 99.00GBP. Besides the extortionate prices, there is also an automatic renewal installed, which is hard to cancel. They informed us that users may only cancel the automatic renewal within 24 hours, following the purchase of the subscription. By the way, cancelling the automatic renewal must be done 48 hours before expiration, which should be made through the profile settings. There is a lot of space to rip off the customers.

Additionally, when we looked at the Terms and Conditions, we found out that this operator is using fake profiles. So, everything turns into a bad experience. Paying money to text to fake profiles, is a clear rip-off.
