Report for Friends-With-Benefits.com review

The online dating portal Friends-With-Benefits.com presents itself with a starting page with a decent design. Nothing extraordinary here, just a picture of a couple and some low-quality previews of member profiles. The sign up is for free, and there is no further information about additional costs after the visitor registers. We have a look at the terms and conditions and read that the company behind the dating website is The Perfect Match LTD. The operator is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria.

This country is home for many corporates which are managing online dating sites. Most of them have bad reputations and are a rip-off. The same goes for Friends-With-Benefits.com. Reviews on the internet confirm that the portal is a scam and lures people into expensive subscriptions, memberships or packages which are either hard to cancel or have a monthly rebilling. Some people allege the site is also using faked profiles and has a moderated chat.

Details on the Friends-With-Benefits.com review

We find the appearance of the website Friends-With-Benefits.com not very appealing. The design is kind of boring, and the member profiles are of low quality and look faked to us. We are missing more details about the costs and services of the portal. Not a good start, but we will register anyway to find out more. The enrolment is done very quickly. Age, nickname, password and the email are all that the site requests. Alternatively, the user can sign in with his Google account.

After verifying the email, the page redirects you to the user profile where you can add photos and personal details and preferences. The interface is straightforward and has the usual functions like search, settings, messages, visits, likes, cams and a small preview of VIP members. A few seconds later, the new member already gets messages from other members. But it is not possible to reply or see any details about those members. The User needs to purchase coins to use basic chat features.

Clearly, the information on the starting page is misleading and false

Some investigation on the internet shows that the reputation of the portal and the company behind it is extremely poor. Former users complain about the subscription traps and how difficult it is to cancel the pricey, monthly recurring memberships. Many of them are seeking legal advice to terminate the subscriptions, some even want to sue the operator. It is no surprise that The Perfect Match LTD is based in Sofia.

To enforce legal actions in Bulgaria is very difficult. The automatic monthly renewal is mentioned in the terms and conditions. The offer of a cheap 3-day trial membership is very tricky and must be cancelled within 2 hours. Otherwise, it will become a monthly subscription with automatic renewal until terminated.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 21/03/2024)

Friends With Benefits offers the User the opportunity to try the Elite service for 3 days before choosing if they want to subscribe for longer. The User has the option to try this service for 3 days. If the User does not want to continue using the Service, he/she must cancel the aforementioned trial subscription before the beginning of the third day of its acquisition, although he/she can still enjoy the bonus until its completion.

If the User does not cancel the trial pass within the stipulated period, the trial pass will be auto-renewed to a monthly Elite subscription during the third day of the Trial period.

Terms and conditions

We also find evidence of data leakage on the website, which the users also agree to when confirming the terms and conditions. Proof that the Friends-With-Benefits.com portal is using faked profiles could not be found, but we are sure that there is something fishy going on. How can a member receive many messages within minutes when his profile does not show any details or photos?

The conclusion from our Friends-With-Benefits.com review

Another good example of how some operators lure their customers with misleading and false information into a cheeky scam. The trick the company The Perfect Match Limited is using on his online dating website Friends-With-Benefits.com is not new but still very effective. We recommend that you stay away from this site and not to sign up. Otherwise, you might also end up in an expensive subscription rip-off and need legal help.

I had one i was talking to so i switched to spainish as she was clearly latino “Oh i don’t speak spainish” the Portuguese “i’m from brazil but parents never taught us to speak it”, ask send selfie of her outside “my phone is broken” ask her questions of the apparent area she in complete BS. google search her photo. Heaps of porn sites then check heaps of others exactly the same. Question her “oh it was a stupid thing me and my bf did years ago” . Create a new profile using her bf photo of just his face and get her attention yep she responds nicely as expected not even realizing. Rosey93 if wondering

I agree with all the comments here, I’ve used the for over a month and it is totally fake and a scam

FWB is TOTALLY FAKE. WOMEN EITHER LIE OR THEY DRAG THE CHATS ALONG BY ASKING MEANINGLESS QUESTIONS TO GET YOU TO REPLY. THE MORE YOU ASK THEM QUESTIONS, THE MORE THEY AVOID OR DOWNRIGHT DON’T ANSWER. THE PURPOSE IS TO STRING YOU ALONG SO THAT THEY CAN GET YOU TO SPEND MORE MONEY. THEY DON’T MAKE A DATE EVEN FOR COFFEE BECAUSE IT IS LIKELY THAT THE PHOTOS HAVE BENE STOLEN FROM VARIOUS SITES AND PICTURES DOCTERED TO MAKE THEM APPEALING.
DON’T GET SUCKED IN. TO STOP BEING ILLEGALLY BILLED BY FWB AFTER YOU DON’T WANT ANYTHI8NG TO DO WITH THESE CROOKS, GET YOUR BANK TO CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD THAT YOU USED AND SEND YOU A NEW NUMBER. IT IS A BIT OF A PAIN BUT IS WORTH IT IN THE END.

Yes, it is a totally scam. Luckily I got all my money back through my credit card company.

What’s the FWB support email? I cancelled my profile but I want to make sure I contact them and ask for the subscription to be cancelled as well. I cancelled my profile and now I can’t get back in to get the email unless I join again

  5. LA 28th February 2023 at 5:42 pm - Reply

Yes, definitely a scam. I joined and within eight days I cancelled my membership, but I had already spent
Close to $250 membership fee and then those damn credits I bought three different packages just in 8 days, at first it was easy to get stupid and let the women send you 1 to 3 line replies really never answering
Your but they always ask you questions to get another message out of you at ten credits per message so
The first four days I flew through my credits like wildfire. Now I will say I was bored out of my mind, and was laying in the hospital sick as a dog and drugged up, but still no excuse. Well on the fifth day I was taken off the Meds and wise up, so I took a different approach and told to the four women I was communicating with that I was almost out of credits and wasn’t buying anymore that I had chosen you and you are the only one I’m messaging but when I did that it lit a fire under there butt, then it became very obvious that they weren’t reel and probably not even women. They were getting upset and mad saying stuff like I can’t believe you don’t care about me and just how close I was to meeting you, and others like I put in for Friday and next to be off of course that was 10 days away and all four of them were using the same technique but worded a little different. I just kept putting pressure on them and I had gone from using 200-250 characters per message to using the full 400. And laying in on thick. But regardless what I told them and how upset they played to be all would alway end the message with a insufficient lame question it was very obvious they were not serious or who they say they were, and sometimes I believed that the lady I was messaging was two or three different people depending on the time I contacted them. Just trying to give all the new info speakers that if you join what to look for, but the best action you could take is no action don’t waste your money or time is fake, but if you got the money to blow and want some expensive entertainment that’s not even as real as the fake wwe or raw so called wrestling LOL. Well sorry this so long… Just be aware and don’t waste your money but if you want to waste it I’ll give you my email and talk dirty to you, then you can send me the money, I need it….

Sadly it took me longer and cost more to figure out this was a scam always seemed odd that shop assistants and hairstylists had to check their ‘schedules’. Worse is that I see they took two payments on the same day several times. Avoid at Al costs.

Biggest ripoff on internet for dating category. Pictures are stolen from other internet sites. Same women different age posted in other countries. Fake . This site should be shut down as misleading.

Look closely at some pictures of allegedly UK resident women and you may spot foreign power points , not the UK ones. Did not know parts of Glasgow had European type wall sockets 😂

I knew there was something wrong with this site I’ve been talking with the same 3 women well at the start I thought they were women for 1 month now and every time I’ve wanted to meet with 1 of them for a coffee they want to talk more and I’m thinking how much more can you learn about someone just messaging without meeting the person I grew up here and these women are supposed to be from here to but in all my life I’ve never seen them anywhere I’ve had enough of this bullshit site wish I would have researched the site before signing up does a fool ever learn thanks to everyone else for your input AL least I’m not the only one

    • Steve 7th February 2023 at 8:59 am - Reply

Agreed one minute they want to meet for a coffee then they ask for more details, couldn’t upload photos, just a pure scam, should be taken down immediately. Glad I don’t have a monthly charge on my account, fuming, shouldve read these comments beforehand instead of being made a fool of!

      • Anonymous 8th September 2023 at 6:37 pm - Reply

sadly, I agree wholeheartedly with the last, as well as all the previous commentators, but I persisted longer then I should sheerly because intrigued what devious tactics these women (“women”?) would try next.

Nobody ever meets on this site that’s a fact live and learn was on the U.K site and saw 0ver 120 profiles that were on the Canadian site always very evasive skip over questions . Always one way communication no one ever gets in touch with me after I have made contact always just send icebreakers. Should be shut down.

I really wish I had read all these comments before I signed up , hope I can stop any future payments thru my credit card company, I am 100 % sure there are no real women on this site . It only took me about 1 week to figure out that something was not right . And everybody that has written a review is right , this is a SCAM and avoid it at all cost

  12. Nev 12th January 2023 at 9:25 pm - Reply

I thought I would have some fun and only spent $50.00 on purchasing messages- got 200 credits- each message reply cost me 10 credits- so no harm done. $2.50 a message. Communicated with several ladies and all were avoidance answers to meeting for a coffee.
Wanted to ‘get to know me more before meeting. Dragged it out and answers were no specific. A rouse. But had a bit of harmless fun. Then I checked out if the site was a scam. And yes, it turns out to be just another generic set up.

Pure evil, I have been trying to connect various women for four months on the site to meet up and they all have an excuse for avoidance, but one thing in common is ‘soon’ or ‘we are getting close’. I have come to conclusion that it’s one person with having many profiles. Disappointed is all I can say.

I’ve been on this website for 6 months and I have been talking to several women for several months and they always have reasons why they can’t meet yet but promise it’ll be soon. You can’t exchange contact info either. Also some of their answers almost seem to not be a typical American person answering or talking. Some of there remarks aren’t standard English language comments. It seems almost like it’s a translation issue like maybe they’re working from another country

  16. Storman69 27th November 2022 at 10:22 am - Reply

Truly disgusting rip off, uk girls contacted over a period of a week and the response was always the same “we are getting close”. Most profiles are set up with pics from other sites, mainly vipergirls. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Sites like this should be reported and closed down

They are in Norway too. Twenty fake profiles found so far. Surprisingly enough they seem to write perfect Norwegian.

  18. Kevin 17th September 2022 at 7:28 pm - Reply

Yeah, It’s quite telling that all of the above seven comments are from dissatisfied males, can it be true that not a single female has had any issue with this site whatsoever or could it simply be that it’s a scam.
IF IT LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS.

Just like you others i fell for it should have acted smarter when my bank decline to pay sub fee yes i have chatted to a few and got no where as when you ask to meet they are to busy even the weekends , Can some one tell me how they get the pictures of the women and use them some are showing you all even the lips so i find it hard to work out how they are allowed to use the pictures on a profile i have no tec skills so reverse image check no idea how you do it But at the end of the day STAY WELL CLEAR LADS are you’ll be taken for a ride .

    • Tristan 13th November 2022 at 7:11 am - Reply

The pictures are from a photo library, or simply stolen from other sites. If you look carefully you’ll notice that pics are always blurry, look grainy and old or in some cases have been photoshopped. You can see this around certain edges.

Scam website. Fake profiles of ‘people’ (wont even say women) that take a cut from your subscription for every message you sent. Stays to online chat only.

Even if you cancel your subscription, they still take off money each month! BEWARE

Even the billing company ‘Tpmsup.com’ you contact and comes as a 404 error.

It’s not too late once you’re signed up to FWB. Just don’t buy any credits. Don’t worry , you’ll get plenty of hot looking fake profiles within minutes. To prove that , tske a screenshot of their profile picture . Take the screenshots and run them through Google Image. I did just that and half of them showed up right away as overseas profiles
