Report for FortuneFlirts.com review

FortuneFlirts.com makes a great first impression. The website is well-designed and contains images of attractive women, who you can supposedly meet there. The site advertises that all that is necessary is that you sign up for free, and you can start chatting with like-minded singles. Though this seems promising, our review found that FortuneFlirts.com is another fake chat scam.

The operator of this site is Notify Direct Marketing BV, a company based in Krimpen aan den IJssel, in The Netherlands. We have previously given this operator a negative review for running fake chat scams. Unfortunately, this website is no different. In our experience, we discovered that it uses fictitious profiles and fake chat operators. Also, the chatting feature must be paid for, with virtual “credits.” Seeing as it is impossible to meet the fictitious profiles, we consider this a rip-off.

Details on the FortuneFlirts.com review

Though it seemed like a fun and exciting dating service at first glance, our experience on FortuneFlirts.com revealed that it is a fake chat scam. The website admits to using fictitious accounts, which are operated by employees of the site. However, they state that it is easy to distinguish these fake profiles from genuine ones. We found that this is not true, and it is actually very difficult to spot them. Since users are not sufficiently informed about the presence of fake chat operators, so we consider this website to be a scam.

Also, this website is not free to use, as most users would assume. Each message you want to send here costs money. Users are required to purchase an expensive bundle of virtual credits, which can then be used to chat. Since it is likely that all the profiles here are fake, this is a scam. The operator of the site is Notify Direct Marketing BV, based in Krimpen aan den IJssel, in The Netherlands.

Full of fictitious accounts

When you first log on to FortuneFlirts.com, it is quite likely that you will immediately start receiving messages. These will usually contain explicit or suggestive language. They invite users to engage in a conversation. The issue is that most, if not all, of these messages will likely be sent by a fake chat operator.

We read the Terms and Conditions and found that the operator admits to employing fake chat operators. These individuals pretend to be genuine users of the site and will contact you to start chatting. Though the terms state that these profiles are marked with a heart icon, we found this incredibly difficult to spot. In our review, we concluded that users are not sufficiently notified that there are fictitious profiles here.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 11/11/2022)

The website, service and content are being provided for entertainment purposes only and are not intended to be used for establishing meetings with other users. Profiles marked with a heart icon […] are fictive profiles with which physical contact is not possible.

Expensive chatting service

A big issue with this website is the cost. Each message costs money to send. Users must purchase a bundle of these credits to participate in conversations. Seeing as this website employs fake chat operators, this could end up being very expensive. These operators are known for carrying on very long conversations, so users will spend as much money as possible. This is a classic fake chat scam.

The conclusion from our FortuneFlirts.com review

Overall, our review found that FortuneFlirts.com, operated by Notify Direct Marketing BV, from the Netherlands, is another fake chat scam and a rip-off. This website uses fictitious profiles run by fake chat operators. The purpose of these accounts is to get users to spend money, since each message here requires the use of expensive virtual credits. Users are not well-informed about this detail, so we consider this to be a scam. The chances of finding real dates here are extremely low.
