Our negative experience with the website FlirtyTown.com was during our evaluation of the site. We then searched for further evidence of a scam. As soon as the registration was completed, we quickly received many tempting messages that were supposedly from hot women. However, since our profile did not have a profile photo, we immediately suspected that this site was a scam. The only free feature on this platform is registering for an account. To interact with the other so-called members, users will have to pay.
Most of the profiles, if not all, show only fictitious accounts. They were actually created by professional moderators and are operated by them. Since users are required to pay for using the chat, moderators try to seduce and keep users on the chat page with enticing messages, making gullible users believe that the chats are genuine. The longer the user uses the chat feature, the more they need to pay, so moderators try to keep users on the chat page for as long as possible.
Excerpt from the GTC (as of 01/12/2022)
7.1 The Service is a digital Fantasy chat service for adults. The profiles are solely provided for the entertainment of Users. The interaction between the User and other profiles may simulate real life discussion and roll playing in order to fulfil the applicable fantasy. However, the Service is not a dating platform, and it is not possible to meet the fictional profiles in person.
A sneaky trap
Sending messages in the chatroom will result in the purchase of expensive and non-refundable ‘credits.’ Users will end up chatting with people who are not the same people shown in the profile pictures. Chatting with fake profiles never develops into a date. Therefore, we consider this site to be a fake chat scam and recommend that our readers avoid this site if they do not want to regret having such an awful experience.
FlirtyTown.com is operated by SkyLoop Digital LTD, a company registered in London, UK. This is not our first run-in with them. We have already evaluated several of their sites in the past and the conclusion has always been the same: this company has no other objective than to defraud its users. In fact, there are many online reviews from former users talking about falling for the site’s scams.
