Report for FlirtySpace.com review
The online dating platform FlirtySpace.com gives the impression of a place where you can find either a fling or enjoy a love story. It features a beautiful young woman on the landing page and invites you to look for sex or romance on the platform. It advertises with free registration. Other than that, there is very little relevant information, unless you pay attention to the footer. Zero information about important aspects of a platform, such as pricing, and the type of service offered, is often the first red flag we find on dodgy dating websites.
We carry out a little research to figure out if FlirtySpace.com, managed by London-based Porticato Media LTD, is yet another scam. We create a very simple profile and read the Terms of Use attentively. The second red flag here is that you cannot look up specific words in the Terms and Conditions. The more we dig, the more warning signs we find. The platform is a rip-off which operates on a subscription-based business model. The member’s area is full of fake profiles and has some serious data privacy issues.

Details on the FlirtySpace.com review
FlirtySpace.com comes across as neatly designed and glossy-looking at first, but it hides an ugly truth. The operator of this website is Porticato Media LTD, based in London, United Kingdom. This company manages a big network of online dating sites and has a terrible reputation. We have written negative reviews about them many times before. Unfortunately, this is not an exception. Upon closer inspection of the Terms of Use, we discover that the company creates what they call “staff profiles”. These are virtual profiles managed by company employees. These do not correspond with a real-life user.
The reason these fake members exist, according to the company, is to monitor their services, entertain you and make sure they offer the best quality. The truth is that they are only created to keep you interested in the service, even though it is impossible to arrange a real-life date. They will chat you up, in the hopes of getting you to sign up for a subscription. We were bombarded with messages the moment we signed in. We have not even written anything on our profile or uploaded any photos, so being immediately popular, tells us that something is off.
Fake chat scam
The virtual operators urge you to sign up by sending messages, which disappear unless you become a subscriber. Even though registration is free of charge, the basic functionality is useless. You will not be able to send messages. You only get to see a thumbnail of the profile pictures. All members look extremely attractive. This is suspicious but apparently effective, as we find this strategy is common on these cheeky websites. However, it should be telling us something about how unlikely the whole setup is.
If you fall for this trap, it is likely that the cancellation process will be cumbersome, time-consuming, and probably expensive. During our research, we found several negative reviews by former clients of this online dating network. The most common complaints were unexpected charges to their credit cards, which continued even months after canceling the account. In our experience, this is a common practice among sketchy companies operating subscription rip-offs. Another usual complaint was the bot-filled members’ area. It seems that they also create positive reviews on trustworthy websites, to counter any complaints by the users.

Specifically please note that we may use any of your content, including your photographs, for the purposes of advertising or publicity. If you do not wish us to do this, please contact us.
We do not guarantee that all the profiles found in search will belong to other users, as we reserve the right to create profiles which are maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”). The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to ensure our Services are operating properly by allowing us to test the Services, features and functionalities, and to research our products and Services.
Serious privacy concerns
We were also shocked to discover that the company reserves the right to use any content that you post or upload on the website. As you can read above, they mention they may use it for “advertising” in particular. Considering the huge network of dating websites that this operator manages, this is indeed concerning. A member’s most private photos may end up on the landing page of other platforms, or they may use them on external websites as part of an ad. In other words, anyone could see this oblivious person in an extremely compromising position.
The conclusion from our FlirtySpace.com review
FlirtySpace.com is yet another subscription rip-off managed by Porticato Media LTD. We discovered serious data privacy issues. These can lead to your private photographs being posted on ads for anyone to see. We also found out that the platform is mostly made up of user profiles which do not correspond to a real human being. Instead, they are operated by company employees with the purpose of getting you to sign up for a paid subscription. We strongly advise against subscribing. Many former users have shared terrible experiences regarding unexpected charges, and difficulty communicating with the company.
