FlirtsNearby.co.uk is supposed to be a casual dating portal where users should be able to find attractive and spicy women who live within the local area. However, we quickly recognized the landing site and suspected that this portal was not going to fulfill our fantasies. After all, this is the latest rip-off by Midsummer Online BV, a dodgy company based in Middelburg, Netherlands. We have had plenty of experience with them before in previous reviews. After dozens of reviews, we know they are not reliable. We have yet to find a website created by them that is actually worth it.

We had good reason to be suspicious since The Terms of Use confirmed our skepticism. Even so, we created a profile to test the site and check out the lousy fake chat service. It was filled with fictitious profiles that were ready to scam us. Unfortunately, many people end up wasting their money due to being seduced by a glossy landing site and a bunch of empty promises.

FlirtsNearby.co.uk is unsurprisingly another phony rip-off by Midsummer Online BV. This Dutch operator is based in Middelburg and has amassed a dreadful reputation. They are serial scammers who always engage users in a fake chat conversation that entices gullible users who are in search of a sexy date. The website promises that finding a chat partner will only take a few seconds. Of course, that is ridiculous. They can only claim such a thing because the virtual characters in the members’ area were programmed to interact with every new user.

Fantasy chat

Shortly after we created our profile, our inbox was filled with messages from profiles that were clearly fictitious. The profiles of all the girls were all too sexy, and we hadn’t even had the time to assess the interface, let alone upload a picture. We would have gone unnoticed in a chat populated by real humans. However, these girls were exceptionally interested in our sexual prowess.

Since we had plenty of experience in dealing with such websites, we quickly noticed the warnings at the bottom of the landing site. It explicitly mentioned the use of self-created profiles. However, the operator knows that most people won’t bother reading the fine print. Either way, communicating with these fantasy girls is not cheap. Users will have to pay for every single message. It is a rather cruel scam that takes advantage of people who feel vulnerable and lonely.

Insofar as Users send texts or images, sounds and/or software to Midsummer Online B.V. or leave them on the website, users transfer all intellectual property rights to Midsummer Online B.V. and indemnify Midsummer Online B.V. therefore of third-party claims. Midsummer Online B.V. is therefore entitled to exploit these contributions commercially.

Privacy concerns

We noticed there was another concerning issue with the website. The Terms and Conditions mention that the company reserves the right to use any content users may upload to the platform for whatever use they deem appropriate. This means that they may use the user’s profile picture commercially. We know from previous reviews that these cheeky operators tend to copy and paste the accounts onto other dating site rip-offs. It is quite unsettling to think that your face may be featured on some random erotic website.

FlirtsNearby.co.uk is an online dating fraud managed by Midsummer Online BV, a Dutch company with a terrible reputation. This operator has built up a significant network of similar scams. They usually operate a sexy fake chat service and try to take advantage of innocent users looking for a date. Exchanging messages on the chat is extremely expensive. Furthermore, the operator may use all the profile pictures of real users on other phony dating platforms, which poses a concerning threat to the users’ privacy.
