On the landing page, we read the number of more than one million registered members. This number is to lure visitors on the portal and later into a scam. It is a fake chat rip off. That means that fake operators operate all profiles of the website. The operator of FlirtLocal.com is the company named High Knight LTD which runs a few more dating websites.

The online dating website advertises with a large member’s pool.  On the landing page, we see a few profile pictures and assume that they are all real members. Additionally, we see several people that are registered. Regard to that number this website gets new members every second that passes. The number is by more than one million. That would mean that this website is one of the most visited dating websites in the UK.

Of course, it is not, as FlirtLocal.com is nothing more than a cheeky rip-off. The operator is well-known on the internet, and also we had some experience with the company. FlirtLocal.com is not the only website of the operator but only one out of many. The tricks and irritating information seem to be always the same. The operator of FlirtLocal.com is High Knight LTD. That company is in Nicosia, Cyprus. Already the location of the company is a first hint for us that this website is non-reputable.

Subscription trap

One trick of the operator is the advertisement for free registration. But after registration, the user will have to pay a lot of money. That also means that the number of million already registered users on the landing page is consciously wrong as well.
