We cannot deny that chatting with the other members can be fun for some people, but there is something everyone should know. FlingsAround.com is a moderated dating service full of fake profiles. This is not our first experience with the platform’s operator Midsummer Online BV, from the city of Deventer.

After some research, we find out that the company lets fake chat operators do all the work. They hide using fake profiles and engage in conversations with the users. The users only see the fictitious profile, not knowing who hides behind it. This makes them more vulnerable to seduction. In the chat, users are enticed to send expensive messages, which makes FlingsAround.com a rip-off.

First, we check the landing page of FlingsAround.com, where the operator brags about the high number of registered users. Apparently, over 3 million people have decided to sign up here. For a dating platform that popular, it is surprisingly difficult to find more than just a few reviews. The ones we could find were all negative. They all point out what is wrong about this platform. The members on FlingsAround.com are not real.

The bad reputation of FlingsAround.com does not really surprise us. The platform is run by Midsummer Online BV, who we know quite well. The company from Deventer in the Netherlands is responsible for several dating platforms which are based on a fake chat scam. All of them claim to have many members, but we certainly do not believe these numbers to be true.

Moderators are the ones “entertaining” the users on FlingsAround.com. They are also known as fake chat moderators since they use fake profiles as a tool to stay undercover. By pretending to be someone they are not, they can flirt with the users without getting recognized as moderators working for the company. In the chat users must redeem virtual “credits” to send messages. If the moderators manipulate the users with success, the operator gains a lot of money. This is the basic principle of every fake chat scam.
