Report for FlameDatez.net review

FlameDatez.net is promoted as the perfect solution to beat loneliness. Apparently, it is a hot and discreet way to meet local singles. According to the landing page, the portal has more than 100,000 members waiting to find an exciting match. This platform was developed by Medialix LTD, an operator registered in Lefkosia, Cyprus. We don’t have much experience with this company, but it is hard to believe they would have managed to gather such a big following when they are virtually unknown.

When we took a closer look, we noticed a warning at the bottom of the landing page. It subtly informs visitors of the presence of fictitious profiles. Users need to scroll all the way down to see it. The website wasn’t really created to facilitate face-to-face encounters. It can only provide a virtual flirt at best.

Details on the FlameDatez.net review

Our review proved that FlameDatez.net is not a real dating website. In spite of the promises made on the landing page, we only found fictitious profiles in the members’ area. On the landing page, the creators included text saying there were no robots or AI-driven profiles on the website. However, that may just mean that the fictitious profiles were operated by human employees to engage users through the fake chat service. The portal is managed by Medialix LTD. This company is based in Lefkosia, Cyprus.

Fake chat rip-off

Just as promised, it doesn’t cost anything to register, so we went ahead and created a temporary profile for our review. Our goal is always to gather info and evidence based on first-hand experience. This is done so that we can bring our readers accurate and up-to-date information. We can confirm that costs will only arise once users become active on the chat. Sending a message, photo, or virtual gift cost 10 “credits.”

All new users are rewarded with the digital currency called “credits.” If they go through the confirmation process via their email, they’ll get 30 credits. Beyond that, users must purchase more credits if they wish to participate in the fake chat service.  The cheapest option is a 100-credit bundle for £22.49. That would be enough for 10 messages: a pricey service. The sad part is the victims of this scam won’t realise at first that there are no genuine members on this platform. Once they figure out what’s going on, all the fun flirting will turn into a bitter experience.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 24/02/2024)

The user agrees that all content originating from such ChatFlames, information, texts and images are fictional and are only intended as entertainment. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is pure coincidence. No arrangements can be made with fictitious profiles. You can identify the ChatFlames by the logo in the right hand corner of the profile picture in the profile

Insufficient customer care

Allegedly, there are no recurring costs, so there is no evidence of a subscription rip-off. However, we wouldn’t be too comfortable giving our credit card details to a company that can only be contacted through an email address that could be easily ignored. The only customer care we found was a FAQ section. That is far from satisfactory. Particularly, since they claim there is a 30-day refund policy for unused credits, they should be more readily available.

The conclusion from our FlameDatez.net review

FlameDatez.net is a phony online dating rip-off that claims to be the best way for users to end their loneliness. They even claim to help users find a hot date within their local area. They promise there is no AI or robots involved, but it is a fake chat scam, nevertheless. The portal was developed by a Cyprus-based company named Medialix LTD, from Lefkosia. We haven’t had many encounters with this operator, but so far, it has been a rather disappointing experience.
