According to what we read on the landing page, more than 1.3 million members have already registered, and are waiting for you to do the same. Since creating an account is free of charge, it looks like there is nothing to lose in giving it a try.

Upon further inspection, we cannot recommend DesireMatches.com. This website is nothing more than a scam with a fake chat. As clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions, the member’s area contains fictional profiles. All you can get from this portal is a purely virtual experience. Maunaloa LTD is the company based in Nicosia, Cyprus, responsible for this rip-off. On the internet, they constantly receive negative reviews from former users.

At first sight, DesireMatches.com seems like a reliable dating platform, where you can easily find a local hookup. The exceptional number of active users, should guarantee that it will not take long, before you will see your dreams come true. The landing page shows a preview of some of the latest members. Moreover, it invites you to join for free. This looks quite promising, but it is also highly misleading.

Those who are not familiar with online dating websites, are led to believe that they do not have to pay anything to use the service. Unfortunately, this is not true. The free basic membership only allows you to set up your account, upload a picture, and view other members’ profiles. DesireMatches.com acknowledges that you may interact with “company profiles” that are not associated with any real members. People are tricked into thinking that they are chatting with somebody genuinely interested in a physical encounter. Whereas, instead, the flirtatious messages that they receive are sent by fake chat operators, or computer programs. The purpose of this scam is to lure you into spending money on the platform, for one of the dangerous recurring subscriptions.

The lack of transparency about costs and subscriptions, is already ringing an alarming bell. The negative reports that we have found online, confirm that this is not a safe dating platform. Signing up here is completely pointless because many of the profiles are fake. It is almost impossible to arrange a real-life date on DesireMatches.com.
