Report for DeLaChat.com review

DeLaChat.com may look like a dating website, but in reality, it is just a fake chat service where users can only flirt with fictitious profiles. However, this is not the general impression most visitors would get just by looking at the landing page. It looks modern and shows photos of good-looking people of all ages staring at their phones. It doesn’t come across as a typical scam. As a result, it made us hesitate for a second, but there is nothing to look forward to here.

We couldn’t find out which company was in charge of this rip-off. They have conveniently hidden all relevant details. The portal targets a British audience. If you take a good look, nothing mentions the possibility of finding a real relationship. We also found some disturbing fake reviews online.

Details on the DeLaChat.com review

DeLaChat.com looks like a dating website, but it only offers a fake chat service. Users would not be able to identify the true intentions of this site right from the get-go. Users who don’t have as much experience as we do in the online dating industry will be easily fooled by the lies told on the site. The operator is unknown and can only be contacted via e-mail address. This is another warning sign we should take seriously. As you can read in our review, the Terms and conditions further prove our point.

Fake reviews

Since we couldn’t find out much about the operator, we looked for online reviews of former users. We actually found quite a few of them, but they didn’t sound genuine for the most part. They were all very general and didn’t get into any details about their actual experience on the site. Some users complained about the exact same thing, accusing the company of planting these phony comments on various websites.

If you pay attention to what is actually being said, none of the positive opinions mention having got into an actual relationship, or even meeting real people. They just write about being entertained or having some fun time on the chat. One may argue that they are being honest this way. However, people tend to see what they want to see. A person looking for a dating website won’t even imagine that these virtual characters are impossible to meet in real life. The operator uses this ambiguity on purpose.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 16/02/2024)

DeLaChat is an entertainment service offered for amusement purposes. You understand, acknowledge and agree that some profiles appearing on DeLaChat may be created or operated by DeLaChat or third-party contractors. The purpose of these types of profiles is to stimulate conversation with Users and encourage further and broader participation in all of DeLaChat services.

By posting or transmitting User Content to DeLaChat, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to DeLaChat, its affiliates, licensees, and successors, an unrestricted, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully sub-licensable, fully paid, worldwide license to: (a) use, copy, perform, display, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works.

Aggressive flirting

If you’ve ever been on one of these phony websites, you won’t be surprised to hear we immediately gained a lot of interest from other supposed users. In fact, we hadn’t even added any details or uploaded a profile photo. Therefore, it was obvious that there were no true members trying to connect with us, but it didn’t reveal they were fake profiles. This is part of the tactic employed by this and many other similar scam companies. Through these seductive messages, they hope we’ll want to pay a ridiculous amount of money just to play with an unfulfilling fantasy.

The conclusion from our DeLaChat.com review

DeLaChat.com is a chat rip-off that gives the impression of being an online dating site. It is run by an unknown company. They have taken great care in hiding who they are. The website can only provide some entertainment, but never a real-life encounter. All the profiles on the website are fictitious. They are designed to get in touch with new users, so people will be willing to spend a lot of money on exchanging these messages.
