Report for DatingTrans.co.uk review

DatingTrans.co.uk is a transsexual dating site for users in the United Kingdom. The registration is free of charge, and so is sending winks to other members. If you want to send a chat message, you are required to purchase virtual “credits” in the shop. DatingTrans.co.uk is not worth all the money it costs. Since the other profiles are merely fictional, you cannot arrange dates in real life.

This scam dating site is operated by BD Technologies AG from Zug, in Switzerland. Based on our previous experience, we know that this Swiss operator makes use of fake profiles to trick the users. It seems that the other members are genuine. However, they are fictional members who entice the users to make use of the expensive chat function.

Details on the DatingTrans.co.uk review

The registration form is what the landing page of DatingTrans.co.uk is all about. Apparently, we are supposed to sign up first before we get to know more details. According to the operator, the free places on this site are limited. This statement is false and only used to make you sign up instantly. The fact that all profiles are said to be verified is misleading to say the least. This dating site is full of fictional profiles, and by signing up you are asked to agree to their use.

Too many fake profiles

The fact that this site is full of fictional member profiles is mentioned more than once. However, this important statement is always well-hidden. We are also not told if these profiles are only bots or controlled by fake chat operators, who can simulate real conversations with the users. The more messages you send in the chat, the more money you must pay. This makes DatingTrans.co.uk a fake chat scam which we have seen many times before.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 18/08/2021)

3.4. The purpose of this website is to enable (erotic) chat conversations between fictitious profiles and users, and therefore contains fictitious profiles. Physical meetings are not possible for these fictitious profiles.

The company behind this rip-off

DatingTrans.co.uk is run by BD Technologies AG, who are based in Zug, in Switzerland. This Swiss area is also known as the country’s tax haven and is a hotspot for untrustworthy dating companies. In fact, this is not the first scam site owned by this Swiss company that we have dealt with. In several previous reviews we have already shared our experience with this rip-off by BD Technologies AG.

While you can send winks for free, you cannot send messages until you buy virtual credits. Every time you send a message in the chat, you lose one credit. If you have several interesting conversations at once, you can easily lose a lot of money. This is exactly what the operator wants you to do.

The conclusion from our DatingTrans.co.uk review

DatingTrans.co.uk is not a proper dating site. Do not let the fact that all profiles are verified fool you. There is more than enough evidence proving that this site is full of fake profiles. You cannot meet these profiles in real life, which is why their existence is supposed to remain a secret. Since you are required to pay money to chat with fake members, this site is nothing but another fake chat scam.

I wholeheartedly agree with what I’ve read here everything about this “dating” website is fake EVERYTHING
I’m wondering if one could report this website to trading standards.

In the FAQ, it states clearly that “The website works exclusively with Fictional Profiles and is not intended for the realisation of physical agreements”
