We would assume that they are all real members and real people, but they are not. DatingHookUp.co.uk is a fake chat scam by Connect Media.

The company Connect Media is well-known on the internet and also we have already had some experiences with this operator. The operator runs much more than only this dating platform and all of them are rip offs. The members are all fake and the profile show fictitious person. The fake profiles are operated by fake operators that entice the users into conversations with no goals but high costs for the costumers as they have to pay a lot of money to send messages.

On top of the landing page the operator shows good looking profile pictures and advertises with the slogan that this is UK’s biggest hook-up dating portal. Since this is a contradiction we assumed that the operator advertised the wrong information.

The fake profiles show fictitious people that are not real and the profiles are operated by fake operators. The fake operators have the job to entice the users into conversations. The costumers do not know about fake chats and do not know that physical contact is impossible. In a nutshell, the users get tricked and scammed as the costumers have to pay a lot of money to have a conversation with another member.
