    Report for DatingBuddy.net review

DatingBuddy.net is a dating platform that advertises with free registration. Allegedly, this is a great place for everyone interested in a casual experience with local partners. In reality, this website is just a rip-off. As opposed to what was promised, the website is not free. To connect with other members, users have to buy expensive credits. Regardless of how much they spend, they will never get the chance to meet anybody because this portal implements a fake chat scam.

DatingBuddy.net is operated by SILVERAN CAPITAL Ltd, a company headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. We have already encountered this name on several occasions. They are responsible for a huge network of unreliable dating websites. Our previous reviews have uncovered many of their recurrent rip-offs.

    Details on the DatingBuddy.net review

The landing page of DatingBuddy.net doesn't provide the reader with much information. Apart from the video of a stunning woman and the guarantee that the registration is free, the page is basically empty. Our extensive experience with untrustworthy dating sites teaches us that this is never a good sign. Any potential subscriber should always be informed before they have to sign up about what to expect. By doing so, they don't have to waste time only to find out later that the platform doesn't match their needs.

The creation of a personal account is actually free. However, the basic membership doesn't allow users to communicate with other members, which would be the most important feature of a dating platform. To be able to send messages, people have to buy credits. These are virtual items used on DatingBuddy.net and every other portal of the same network.

    Unreasonable costs

Credits might look quite cheap at first, but there is a catch. Users have to pay separately for every message that they send by spending 50 credits. This means that every single message costs up to £1.5. It's easy to understand how even a short conversation that doesn't last for more than 5 minutes can turn into a costly experience. This is not a scam in itself, but it becomes a rip-off because users never get anything in return for what they pay. They are promised hot hook-ups, but in reality, they are just talking with fantasy profiles.

The following is stated in the Terms and Conditions

Members understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this Site may be fictitious.

    Just a virtual experience

DatingBuddy.net admits to creating fake profiles to communicate with their members. These accounts are controlled by professional chat operators who have nothing to do with the person displayed in the profile picture. Since these profiles cannot be distinguished from genuine ones, users can never be sure whether they are talking to a real person. These “fake chat” operators are employed by SILVERAN CAPITAL Ltd, the company from Limassol, Cyprus, that runs DatingBuddy.net.

The conclusion from our DatingBuddy.net review

DatingBuddy.net is far from being a safe and effective dating website. The dating service that runs this platform uses a fake chat service for all their users. Users are tricked into spending a lot of money by the promise that this will lead them to a sexual encounter with a local partner. However, our review has exposed them to our readers. Most of the profiles are created and managed by professional operators. Real-life meetings are therefore impossible.
