Report for Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk review

At first sight, Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk appears to be a normal and reliable online dating portal. But we did some research on the internet and found many negative reviews. According to the experience of former users, it is a bad choice and a scam. However, we found hints about a fake chat which we cannot prove.

But we found enough evidence to define this website as a subscription rip-off. Costs will occur for a premium-membership after the registration. This will extend automatically if it is not terminated in time. The operator of the site makes the termination difficult, so the deadline will be missed. This site is operated by Dating Lab LTD which is also known for a lack of data protection.

Details on the Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk review

The online dating portal Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk advertises with a solid offer. Also, the first appearance is solid and trustworthy as it aims for a classy target group. But according to the many negative reviews on internet, it is a trick. We found many reports about a scam with a fake chat and a subscription trap. After the registration, customers will receive many messages which stimulate new users into a chat. To reply to all the messages, a paid membership is needed. If you make the purchase, the trap will snap closed. That is how it works on this site.

We must mention that proof of a fake chat is missing. In the legal information, fake chat operators or fictional profiles are not mentioned. But many former users describe the same experience. This information is more reliable than the legal terms of a scam company. However, the real problem is the subscription for the premium-membership and lack of data protection. The operator of the site is Dating Lab LTD who are based in Jersey, in the Channel Islands. This company runs a large network of dating sites. It collects personal data to share it on the network and beyond.

The operator’s bad reputation

Your personal data is used to increase the number of members. If you register here, your profile will be shown on all other sites. That means you lose all control of your personal information. Also, this operator reserves the right to share your personal data with others. That is enough reason to not join this site. If this is not enough, then include the subscription trap. According to the reviews on the internet, the premium-membership will extend automatically, if it is not terminated time. That is used as a trap. The operator makes the cancellation difficult.

The conclusion from our Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk review

Dating.ClassicFM.co.uk is a rip-off with a subscription trap. We found many negative reports about the operator and the permanently renewing membership. It is hard to get out of this trap. Plus, we found many hints about a fake chat which we cannot prove. Finally, this operator lacks data protection. The company reserves the right to collect and share your personal data.

I’ll agree that the attention of other users is a lure to get you subscribe but this is an issue with most subscription dating sites out there.
My concern is that Classic FM romance blatantly advertises to link you up with people that share similar music tastes.
This is entirely misleading since The Dating Lab Ltd, who run this, run a database of users that is shared from Classic FM dating and other sites. For example Telegraph dating and Smooth FM dating. All profiles are dumped in the same pool.
Is this a breach of the trade description act? I’m not sure but it is very misleading.
