Report for Cupid.com review
Cupid.com says that it’s time for you to start a new chapter in your love journey. Are you looking for that special person that makes you feel butterflies in your stomach? If that is the case, Cupid.com claims to be the best dating platform to experience it all. With thousands of members already registered and hundreds more signing up every day, all users have to do is create a new profile and start searching for their soulmate. Unfortunately, users will never find any of that here.
By the end of this review, users will learn that Cupid.com is just a fake chat scam with a subscription rip-off. This website is full of fictitious profiles operated by chat moderators whose job is convincing new users to subscribe for a premium membership. We advise our readers from doing so. It is a trap. We already have dealt with this operator many times before and the experience has always been a negative one. The site’s operator is Antheia Services LTD, a company based in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Details on the Cupid.com review
Cupid.com invites users to leave any doubt behind and completely trust the service that it offers. It promises that users will quickly find whatever they’re looking for, whether it is a committed relationship or just a naughty experience. Cupid.com claims to be the top dating service that puts users within reach of online singles who are craving attention. According to the site, all it takes is two minutes for users to set up an account, and they’ll be ready to start a new adventure full of passion, love, and fun moments.
We decided to give it a shot and we created a new profile. Moreover, we gave an in-depth look at the Terms and Conditions, and it was here that we realized that Cupid.com was not a safe dating portal. Quite the opposite, this site is a scam with a fake chat service and a subscription rip-off.
Staff profiles
Signing up is quick and easy as promised. This is probably the only thing the operators of the site didn’t lie about. Within a few minutes of completing our registration, our mailbox was already full of promising messages. Since we didn’t even upload a picture, this was quite unexpected. We immediately started wondering whether or not Cupid.com uses fake profiles. We checked the legal notes, and we found confirmation of our suspicions.
The member’s area contains fictitious profiles that don’t associate with any genuine members. These accounts were created by professional moderators employed by the company. Staff profiles are not identified separately in the system. Therefore, any message that users might receive could have been sent by a chat operator instead of a real member who is willing to date. To avoid any risk of wasting time and money, we suggest that our readers not trust anybody from this site.
Excerpt from the GTC (as of 12/07/2023)
We do not guarantee that all the profiles found in search belong to other users, as we reserve the right to create profiles which are maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profile”).
A trial membership that cannot be cancelled
To be able to send messages, users must purchase a premium subscription. The most convenient option is the trial plan that runs for just 1 day. If not cancelled on time, it will convert into a much more expensive monthly membership. This is a trap because the notice required to avoid the renewal is 72 hours. At the exact moment that users authorize the payment, the scam is set in motion.
The company that runs Cupid.com is Antheia Services LTD. They are based in Larnaca, Cyprus, and are responsible for many other untrustworthy dating websites. We have already written several reviews about them in the past that uncovered their dirty tricks.
The conclusion from our Cupid.com review
Cupid.com presents itself as the best dating platform for meeting singles within the local area. In actuality, this dating site is probably one of the worst options available. First of all, the majority of the conversations that users may engage in are with fake profiles controlled by professional moderators. Arranging a real date is virtually impossible on Cupid.com. Moreover, the subscription that users need to unlock the chat features is a trap.
