Report for CougarFrenzy.com review

CougarFrenzy.com makes an excellent first impression on the landing page. It captures visitors’ attention by using photos of scantily dressed, attractive models. There is also a caption which implies that members can find true love on this site. All one has to do is register or log in. Those who are excited to view what is inside the portal may heed this message. However, our review shows that they should not.

Lutetium LTD owns this website, which operates from Nicosia, Cyprus. Most reviews of sites from this region show that they are scams and rip-offs. In this case, we found evidence in the Terms and Conditions, that this platform uses automated profiles to engage users. This tactic is prevalent in fake chat scams, where members must pay a subscription fee, or buy “credits”, to interact with fake profiles. Therefore, users should avoid registering on this dating website.

Details on the CougarFrenzy.com review

CougarFrenzy.com is not the genuine site it might seem to be. Those who join will not find a love partner, only misery. Avoid this platform for the following reasons.

Presence of fake accounts

A review of the Terms and Conditions shows that Lutetium LTD operates automated profiles on its dating website. The chats the profiles generate are not real, but are achieved through scripts. The people behind the images do not harbor feelings similar to the users. They are just there to entice users into subscribing to their costly premium services and populate the platform.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 26/01/2024)

We understand the importance of transparency in online interactions and want to ensure that you are fully informed of our use of automated profiles. At times while using our services, you may come into contact with these profiles, which have been generated by either real individuals contracted or employed by us, or by automated programs and scripts (“Automated Profiles”).

Numerous erotic messages

Upon joining the Cyprus-based platform, users receive many messages, even before uploading a profile feature or providing any information. These messages are unsolicited and hint at a hook-up. There is no effort to build rapport and know about the user’s personality, or interests.

These messages are common with scams and rip-offs. They serve to create excitement among eager and unsuspecting users. Those with experience of using legit dating sites, know that interactions are not fast-paced. People usually get to know each other, before arranging a love experience.

False promises

A message on the landing page suggests that the user will find true love by registering or logging on to the site. However, users will interact with fake profiles and not get a date. It is not possible to meet the individuals behind these profiles.

They claim that it is free to join, but once you sign up, you only have three free messages, after which you are blocked. You cannot access the chat area unless you upgrade your membership. Most unsuspecting users, who are eager to continue the steamy chat, usually fall for this trap.

Costly auto-renewal subscription

Those who opt to pay can choose between the 1, 3, and 6-month packages, which renew at £29.95, £59.95, and £99.95, respectively. However, these subscriptions renew automatically unless the user cancels before the due date. Users do not receive any notification of looming charges.

The conclusion from our CougarFrenzy.com review

CougarFrenzy.com is a fake chat scam and rip-off. Those who pay the subscription fee will not find true love. The profiles in the member area are automated. They are primed to engage users into paying for services. Users should be aware of the unsolicited messages they get when they join this platform. Users should not be convinced by these fake profiles, even though they can do this for free. The user will not have a good experience. This is a red flag which you should not ignore.
