Report for ChatGayNet.com review
ChatGayNet.com promotes itself as the best dating website for homosexual individuals. The landing page invites users to join for free and to forget about loneliness. According to what was written, the platform started out as a local dating site in France but expanded its network throughout the world over the years. Now, according to them, it doesn’t matter where you are, for there will always be someone interested in new and exciting experiences nearby.
We did some research, and it turned out that meeting someone in real life through this site is almost impossible. ChatGayNet.com is just a fake chat scam because most of the messages that users receive are sent by a piece of software, known as “chatbots”. The company responsible for this rip-off is RPBA LTD, which is based in Larnaca. To find out more about this operator, we searched the internet for past user reviews, but we couldn’t find anything. However, the operator’s location was highly alarming.

Details on the ChatGayNet.com review
The landing page of ChatGayNet.com seemed quite promising. At first sight, it looked like a great place to get in touch with interesting men who are seeking love, friendships, or just casual encounters. The homepage provides potential subscribers with lots of good reasons to sign up. Apparently, the website contains thousands of profiles from everywhere around the world. Regardless of where users are currently located, there is always someone ready to meet them.
Moreover, ChatGayNet.com seems to be a 100% free dating platform. Or at least, that is what was implied on the initial page multiple times. Unfortunately, all the information they provided was misleading. With basic registration, all users can do for free is create a profile, upload a picture, and browse the member’s area. The only way to send messages is to purchase a premium subscription.
Cheap but risky
During the whole registration process, nothing is mentioned about costs. The lack of transparency about these crucial details is a clear sign that ChatGayNet.com could be a scam. Users are not informed that they need a subscription to send messages until after they try to send a message. Prices are quite fair, but the problem is that all subscriptions are subject to being renewed automatically.
This means that the contract will automatically extend for the same period and at the same price until users decide to cancel it. We know from experience that this system can often lead to a subscription rip-off. In this case, we don’t have any evidence to prove the scam. However, we advise our readers to think twice before spending money on ChatGayNet.com. Regardless of how much users are willing to pay, it’s highly unlikely that they’ll ever meet someone in real life by using this site.
Excerpt from the GTC (as of 25/02/2024)
In order to optimize and increase interactions between members and improve the user experience, we can send icebreakers and photo requests from one user to another. These interactions are generated automatically by our compatibility algorithm.
Fake messages
As soon as users complete the registration process, they’ll start receiving a lot of promising messages. The problem is that all these messages are fake. As clearly stated, these are just icebreakers that have been automatically generated by an algorithm. The profiles that these messages are coming from might be real, but all communications are not.
The site’s operator, which is RPBA LTD from Larnaca, Cyprus, uses this trick to lure users into becoming premium members. We don’t have much information about this company. However, their location is a major source of concern. Cyprus is infamous for being a hotspot for scammers in the online dating industry.
The conclusion from our ChatGayNet.com review
ChatGayNet.com claims to be the best dating platform for connecting with the gay community and finding someone available for real dates. However, our review has proved that there is almost no chance of this ever happening. The profiles in the member’s area seem genuine, but the messages from those members are fake. Users are tricked into believing that there is someone interested in them. By doing so, they will be more likely to spend money on a dangerous recurring subscription.
