Report for BuddiesMaker.com review

BuddiesMaker.com invites visitors to the site to sign up for a new experience in what is called ‘smart dating.’ According to what we read on the landing page, the site is fun and easy to use. Sadly, that is all the information provided to potential users of the site. We decided to create a profile and check the site out for ourselves. It turns out that BuddiesMaker.com isn’t any different from all the other untrustworthy dating websites that we review every day. It is in fact just another scam with a fake chat service.

In the Terms and Conditions of BuddiesMaker.com, we found evidence of a rip-off. The members’ area contains fake profiles that have no indicator to let real users know they are fictitious. Therefore, genuine users can never be sure whether they’re chatting with a real member or a professional chat operator. The site is operated by ALZIATOR COMMERCIAL LTD, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Details on the BuddiesMaker.com review

BuddiesMaker.com presents itself with a landing page that doesn’t leave a good impression. The outdated design and the absence of pictures make it less than appealing. Moreover, there is no adequate information about its services. Apart from a couple of catchy slogans, all we can see is the text that claims active users can make up to 100 contacts per day. That is a lot for a website that doesn’t seem to be popular in the online dating industry.

Since there wasn’t much else to explore on the homepage, we immediately decided to sign up and create a profile to properly evaluate the site. The process was quite simple and quick. After filling out the registration form, we were informed that the site will send a link to our email. By clicking on that link, it will confirm and activate our account. As a new member of the site, we were given the chance to send one message for free. To send any more messages after that, we would have to subscribe for a premium membership.

Maybe it’s a trap

Premium memberships are subject to an automatic renewal policy, which means that they keep extending indefinitely until canceled by the user. The legal notes of the site do not explain how users can prevent automatic renewal. It just says that the site will continue to charge the user’s credit cards until the subscription expires, or if they decide to cancel it. We recommend that our readers do not take the risk of using this site’s services.

We don’t have any clear evidence to determine if this site is a subscription rip-off or not. However, the probability of it being a trap is especially high. Moreover, there’s no point in spending money on BuddiesMaker.com since most of the profiles that users can interact with are fake. Ultimately, all users can get from this platform is some online entertainment with fantasy profiles with whom it’s impossible to arrange a real date with.

We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained, and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”).

Staff profiles

BuddiesMaker.com is a fake chat scam. Users are tricked into believing that they are talking to genuine members looking for dates, whereas instead, they are chatting with professional chat operators hiding behind a false identity. The company responsible for this rip-off is named ALZIATOR COMMERCIAL LTD and is based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The conclusion from our BuddiesMaker.com review

Our experience with BuddiesMaker.com has been totally disappointing. The site advertises itself as a smart dating platform where users will have the chance to get in touch with hundreds of new users every day. Our review has instead proved that this is just a scam with fake profiles and a probable subscription trap. Professional moderators entertain genuine members to lure them into purchasing a premium membership that renews automatically. Real meetings are impossible on BuddiesMaker.com.
